Minnesota Wild break Movember records: Photo of the day

There's a moustache down there, somewhere.
The Minnesota Wild broke two records in November, and they didn't have to raise a stick for either of them.

The Wild raised $28,270 through donations and ticket sales during Movember, an annual charity event that encourages men to grow mustaches to raise awareness about cancer. The money raised goes to support cancer research and awareness organizations, including the Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pcf.org) and LIVESTRONG (www.livestrong.org), the organization founded by cyclist Lance Armstrong.

The Wild raised more than any other professional sports team in the country.

The team also broke the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of men with real moustaches in a single place on Nov. 26, when 1,131 men gathered on the ice after the Wild's game against Nashville. The previous -- and, we have to say, shockingly anemic -- record of 151 was held by the Partick Thistle Football Club in Glasgow, Scotland.

The men with the Mos gathered for a photo. Check it out below, and then check out City Page's own Movember mustache competition slideshow.
