"You will not enter the kingdom of God until you repay the last penny."
Woe betide the robber who broke into St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls and made off with tens of thousands of dollars in Christmas service donations, says the Rev. William Felix.

The money was earmarked for a severely cash-strapped orphanage in Peru.

"I wouldn't want to meet God in judgment having done this," he told KARE 11, and turned to scripture to predict, "You will not enter the kingdom of God until you repay the last penny."

The money was the product of six collections made at different masses over the weekend. It was locked away Sunday afternoon, and discovered stolen on Monday morning.

Now all Felix and his flock can do is pray for the orphans -- and the robber or robbers who stole the money.
