Keaton Patrick Murphy's body found

Keaton Patrick Murphy has been missing since last week.

University police say that a young man's body found in a train boxcar near TCF Bank Stadium today is that of Keaton Patrick Murphy.

The U of M student went missing after he was arrested Thursday on suspicion of distributing child pornography.

Murphy was released from the Hennepin County jail at about 7:15 p.m. that night--the last time anyone saw the 20-year-old from Iowa alive. His parents told authorities their son suffered from depression in the past and may have been suicidal.

Rail workers found his body this morning.

Keaton was a caring and giving person, if you knew him the way these people did, you'd feel like a peice of ever thinking in any kind of way that he would EVER do such a thing, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I went to highschool with him, he was very outgoing, was in plays, great singer, friendly, and again VERY CARING! I wish he could come back and see how much people truly do care about him, no matter what kind of bs he's ACCUSED of! And when the results come back negetive, I hope you feel guilty!

Anyone who really knows Keaton knows that this is not something he would do! His death is not an admission of guilt! How would you handle it if you felt you were wrongly accused of such a crime at a young age? Most would be scared beyond belief!! Since when do people get arrested on suspicion and not charged?? Media played a big hand in this sadness! The horror in this would be if they found him innocent after what they put him, his family and his friends through. Depression is a horrible evil and unless you've ever experienced it or had a loved one experience it, YOU DON'T GET IT!! He was probably one of the most caring and giving young men you would ever hope to meet. I'm happy to say that I knew him and that my children were his friends!! God knows the person Keaton was!! My deepest sympathies to his parents!! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and bring you healing and closure. R.I.P. KPM! Gone but never forgotten!!

keaton murphy was not the type of guy to do this shit. thts not the kid i went to school with i think tha tthe police should do some more in depth invegestagations before accusing somone of this shit. juss like wrongful inprisionment but you can take the person outa jail and set them free and give them money or sumthin to make it rite you CANT BRING KEATON BACK HES DEAD AND THAT IS SOOO FUCKED UP ITS UNREAL.
