The continuation of the Oregon Trail saga.
This week's cover story relates the origin of the most successful educational video game of all time -- Oregon Trail.

It started with three Carleton student teachers, but it certainly didn't end there.

The game ended up reaching 65 million children throughout the world, in great part due to a state body created in the early '70s called the Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium. This feat was achieved through the inspiration of the inventor, Don Rawitsch, and through the innovation of one of the most forward-thinking state bodies in the country.
