The headlines never seem to let up about the crappy American economy, and how tough it is to find a job.

But Forbes is out with a new list today that says Minneapolis and St. Paul have the fourth-best job market of any major city in the country. The best was Washington, D.C. The worst was Las Vegas.

Here's what Forbes had to say about our fair cities:

In the Twin Cities area "employment is expected to recover fully by mid-2011, far earlier than nationally," according to a recent Moody's Economy.com analysis of the region. Look for growth in manufacturing and professional services jobs like accounting. Did we mention that the metro is home to the Mall of America, a retail and tourist destination, which is expanding?

Here are the Top 10 best job markets:

1. Washington, D.C.
2. Boston
3. Austin
4. Minneapolis-St. Paul
5. Oklahoma City
6. Baltimore
7. Milwaukee
8. Salt Lake City
9. New York City
10. Hartford

Click here to see the worst 10. Forbes also has a cool interactive map that offers stats for every county in the country. There's a screen shot below. The darker the red coloring, the worse the job market is.
