David Cress was arrested last September.
David Cress was once the CEO of North Memorial Medical Center. His smiling face was featured in TV ads for the hospital.

Now, he's just another john.

The 60-year-old man has pleaded guilty to prostitution charges after he showed up at a Richfield motel last fall, looking for sex. He and 13 others had answered an online ad cooked up by police.

Cress got away with a slap on the wrist -- a year's probation and a $350 fine -- even though he could have spent 90 days in the pokey.

Still, the North Memorial board kicked him to the curb when it learned he trolled for hookers on the Internet, and he's endured public humiliation, which has to count for something.

I wonder if his slap on the wrist has anything to do with his wife being an attorney and his father-in law a judge. Seems he should have gotten the whole 90 days.
