• Many family members did honorable service to this country and constitution for your right to say all of those terrible things about the protesters . . . but they also fought and died for their right to protest - in whatever form of peaceful way that they choose. Battles like these should be fought at the polls in voting booths not by violence as you suggest. I do not think it should be legal for you to claim that you are a member of the Guard when you are clearly not. I hope that the FBI, ATF, or Federal Marshalls service are successful at finding you and prosecuting for your false claims of service which is a ferderal crime. I would volunteer to help trace your IP and deliver justice in the good name of those who do serve honourably, but hopefully 'Magic Lantern' will shine the light of a CIPAV on you and yours. • I'm sorry, you must have mistaken my message. Teaching was not my profession and I do not want to see any benefits taken away from our schools. Half my property taxes go to fund the school system. Scott Walker wants to double our health insurances premiums while reducing our pension benefits. As a retiree, I currently pay $485.60 monthly for health ins, $450.00 yearly for dental supplement and $72.00 yearly for eye care supplement all as single plans not family. I can't see them doubling. My pension took a cut for the first time in history last year. Scott Walker is taking a dictator's approach to all this. Now threatening to call in the National Guard to put a stop to the protesting. He is as much as saying, "I am going to do what I want and if you object, you'll be punished.". This is my concern. If Scott Walker is allowed to RULE Wisconsin in this fashion, God help us all.

• No. 1 - All Walker wants you to do is pay for your own insurance. No. 2 - You work nine months out of the year. No. 3 - Obviously not all teachers are as hardworking as you say they are, seeing as how you haven't taken into consideration the action of getting a second job. Some teachers take advantage of their degrees and get second jobs allowing for greater economic security. No. 4 - This isn't about you. This is about our children. They are our future. Denying their education over your "problems" is absurd.

• As a retired state employee, I can tell you that you will not find more dedicated and hard working employees. They teach you children, protect your cities, keep your highway safe, send your unemployment checks, plow your streets, work in your correctional facilities, your state hospitals, your detention centers and so on. These people are doctors, nurses, EMT,s, teachers, guards (both prison and National) police officers, clerks, cooks, kitchen help, laundry workers, bus drivers, truck drivers, forklift drivers, housekeepers, clerical workers, and like you, they all have families. They have worked long hours when needed, missed holidays when needed and yes, taken pay cuts when needed. Maybe you have gone to certain government offices this past year to find a notice posted on the door that the office is closed that day. They call it a furlough day. What is it really? Eight hours of pay the employees have given up. Sure when I started in 1970, the benefits were great, but over the years we have given up and paid more just like everybody else. When Lee Dryfus was governor we had the same "furlough" Day concept. Now Governor Walker wants to take more money away do away with ALL Unions and double our health insurance costs. I don't know how the state got into this much debt but Walker wants the public employees to pay it off. If I had a nickel for every time over my 26 years with the state that somebody told me they paid my wages, I could put a dent in the budget. To those who paid my wages, can you afford to pay off Wisconsins debt? Well neither can I.

• It has been said that union workers get strongest when their backbones can be seen from the front. Walker, and his Republican ilk, only hasten that day. It's good that he's calling out the national guard, hopefully they will shoot some of the demonstrators; that was a tactic that worked so well at Kent State. We should encourage these conservative bullys to become as intimidating and radical as possible. Maybe then American workers will realize who their freinds are, ... and who aren"t.
