Chris Cook denies the allegation.
Another Vikings player has run afoul of the law.

Rookie cornerback Chris Cook, 24, was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of pulling out a gun during a beef with a neighbor down the street from his home in Lynchburg, Va.

Cook confirmed to WSET that the two men got into an argument, but he says there was no fight, and told the Star Tribune no gun was involved. He's not sure yet whether he'll be formally charged. He'd just been issued a permit to carry.

"It's just crazy," Cook said. "I just have to deal with it the best way I can. I wish it didn't happen. I wish I would have never got in an argument, but that's what happened."

Can't this crew keep a low profile? Bryant McKinnie ran up a $100,000 bar tab in Hollywood before the NBA All-Star gam. Back in February, defensive end Everson Griffen made headlines after he got into a scuffle during a routine traffic stop and allegedly grabbed acop in the crotch. Bernard Berrian and Adrian Peterson are couple of well-known lead foots. And don't even get us started on Brett Favre.
