He is a compassionate man, like many religious people are, despite the crazy things in their books or the crazy things their coreligionists do. You are missing out on a lot if you view him simply as a representative of his religion, as you do when you treat anyone that way. Great point. No matter what your faith is you should have to answer for the actions of all other members of your faith.
