Bradlee Dean lied to Walmart about his church, is now banned from parking lot

It's been a rough week for Bradlee Dean. On Friday the gay-baiting minister was universally denounced by just about every state lawmaker who could get near a microphone.

Now it turns out that not only is Dean permanently unwelcome in the state legislature -- he's also banned from the Walmart parking lot.

We checked in with Walmart headquarters to ask if they knew they were playing host to a guy who says gay folks should be thrown in jail and has praised religious extremists who execute suspected homosexuals.

Walmart spokeswoman Ashley Hardie said Walmart didn't know -- because the ministry lied to them.

"They registered their request to solicit outside the store using a false name," Hardie said. "As soon as we learned the group's true identity, they were asked to leave."

And just as Kurt Zellers promised "That type of person will never, ever be allowed on this House floor again," Hardie said the ministry's hateful message has earned them a permanent ban from operating on Walmart property.

"Due to their actions towards our customers, we will no longer allow them to solicit outside our stores," Hardie said.

Will the Walmart ban be a setback for Dean? In his ministry's tax filings, Dean claims that his "street teams" raised $446,126 last year, working six days a week. Some have wondered whether operations like the one in Hutchinson yesterday can possibly be pulling in $1,400 a day.

Either way, they won't be doing it at Walmart anymore. There is one place Dean is still welcome, though: the State Fair.

I had one of this group's street team come unglued on me at a Walmart in SD. The guy fed me the line about going to schools to keep kids off drugs etc. I told him I don't give money to random groups in parking lots. This guy started yelling and swearing at me. As I went into the store he was banging on the windows of the entryway yelling at me through the glass. That was one of the few interactions with random lunatics that was actually scary. I called Walmart after I got home and looked up the group. The store manager told me they had lied to him about their activities and that he was kicking them out immediately. This was back in about 2008. I was shocked to see they are still running this scam.

Elk River Walmart has banned them for LYING to them. I complained to Walmart Corporate office about them being at Sam's Club in Maple Grove recently. The Sams Club managers were appalled when they found out what this group really represents. Best thing to do is to cut off their access to funding. Coburns, Holiday Station stores and Super America are also places these scum bags try to fleece the public from. Lodge complaints every time you see them. Why does their idiotic leader use an old photo of himself to promote this group? Must be hard to see yourself turn into a fuckng shit pile.

It's easy to send an email from the Minnesota State Fair website to complain about this. A little too easy if you ask me. Personally nothing helps the deep fried Snickers bar go down like some good old fashioned gay and muslim bashing. I certainly hope the whiny liberals don't send a bunch of emails to the State Fair reminding them of how much Bradlee Dean's appearance at the fair offends them. I can think of no better place for protests, yelling and arguing than the State Fair.

About two years ago, I stopped into a Holiday gas station and was greeted by a street team. They pitched me about their efforts, which I was told were solely to educate teens and veterans on suicide prevention. I was touched by their mission and gave them $20. What an idiot.

It's just too bad that not only do I feel sick for funding this bag of d!cks, but I also will think twice in the future about helping other, probably legitimate, organizations.

I think so, but Bachmann is still backing this guy 100%. She has a record of backing con men, though. Remember Frank Vennes? She stood behind him almost until the day he was convicted of fleecing a whole bunch of evangelical churches out of their money.
