Bradlee Dean, homophobic preacher, gives creepy opening prayer at Legislature [VIDEO]

Bradlee Dean, Axl Rose look-alike and legislative chaplain.
There's something fitting about this: On the day that the Minnesota Legislature is likely to vote forward a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, the Republican leadership invited the most notoriously bigoted preacher in the state to give the session's opening prayer.

Yep. On this dark and stormy day, the GOP couldn't resist twisting the knife, inviting Bradlee Dean, the hard-rock hate-jock youth minister, radio personality, and violent homophobe to talk to legislators about what God wants from them.

BradleyDeanLegislature.JPG
Youtube
Bradley Dean at the legislature
Dean is the guy who argues that homosexuality is actually a federal crime, blames gays for the holocaust, claims the average homosexual molests 117 people, and praises extremist Muslims for executing gays.

Needless to say, his opening prayer wasn't exactly for everybody.

Dean took the opportunity to tell a parable about a company that turned away from the principles of its founder, just like America has turned it's back on God.

"We all know the problems didn't come into our country 1776," Dean said. "They came when we wandered from the founder of the company and tried running it our own way."

Closing out his prayer, Dean acknowledged that he was supposed to be giving a non-denominational prayer:

"It's not about the Baptists, it's not about the Catholics alone or the Lutherans or the Wesleyans or the Presbyterians, evangelicals or any other denomination, but rather the head of the denomination, and his name is Jesus, as every president up until 2008 has acknowledged."

Not to put too fine a point on it, but he means every president right up to the idolatrous heathen, Barack Hussein Obama.

Not everyone liked Dean's prayer. After some hubbub, DFL legislators made house speaker Kurt Zellers start the session again with a less incendiary prayer by a different chaplain. The do-over can be seen here, around minute 18:30.

Here's Dean's prayer (transcript below):

When I arrived at the capitol today I noticed all the writings upon the inside of the walls. In the Supreme Court chambers you have Moses awaiting the Ten Commandments - God's Divine Law. You have George Washington quotes, Thomas Jefferson quotes, speaking of unalienable rights given unto us by our Creator. And when I looked at that, I thought, What an awesome building, and those in this chamber are very privileged to be here, and I am honored to be here as well. And if I can give a small preface to my prayer so my prayer has meaning: I remember when I was a young man, I had a friend who founded a company in Fridley, Minnesota. This man built this company from the ground up as he blueprinted everything in great detail. He put his sweat, tears, everything into it to establish the company. Nobody understood what sacrifice he put into his company except them that helped him along. The company grew in such a proportion that he could now sell the company and he did. On the sale of his company the buyers agreed to keep him on to run the company for them, and in the process the company sold. And when it was sold, the buyers went against the contract and fired the founder. How foolish could they be? They thought once they had control of the company they could run it their own way and still prosper, and they failed miserably.

It sounds much like America today. America has the longest standing Constitution in the history of the world. And might I remind all of us here we have one Constitution, so let us come together and unite ourselves under its directives. Because we all know the problems didn't come into our country in 1776, they came when we wandered from the founder of the company and tried running it our own way. So let us pray.

Father God, I just thank you Father, for what you have bestowed upon us, and through the sacrifice of our brothers and our sisters, Father God, to ratify the Constitution of the United States, Father God, the fight, the bloodshed, and the sacrifice from World War 1 to World War 2, to Korea, Father, to Korea and Iwo Jima, and Vietnam and Father God Iraq, and Afghanistan. And I think about their sacrifice when I go, Father God, to Arlington Cemetery, and I think, That's the reason that I fight, that's the reason that I stand, that's the reason I encourage my brothers to do the same thing. They died so we could have the freedoms that we have today. And they ratified that constitution, and sacrificed their all for it.

And I end with this: I know this is a non-denominational prayer in this Chamber and it's not about the Baptists and it's not about the Catholics alone or the Lutherans or the Wesleyans. Or the Presbyterians, the Evangelicals, or any other denomination, but rather the head of the denomination and His name is Jesus. As every President up until 2008 has acknowledged. And we pray it. In Jesus' name.

The founders were deists, and believed that, while there is perhaps a God above, he does not meddle in our affairs. The founders also believed very strongly in the separation of church and state. The preacher is cherry-picking our history, just like he does his own bible.

Mr. Pinto, I guess you don't want to let the facts get in the way. It is a fact that the current President has acknowledged on many more occasions than one that the United States is not a Christian nation, that we have a rich Muslim heritage. He has covered all references to Jesus in the White House. He has stopped the national day of prayer, yet invites Muslim prayer sessions. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and espouses anti-Christian and anti-Constitutional views, yet is elected President of the United States, then we have a duck in the White House!

I think its safe to say this 'reporter' does not like this preacher. How many times can you count the attacks with labels such as 'homophobe', etc.? If this reporter wasnt taking it in the rear, he might just write a normal article. The flaky left will do anything. Theyve never heard of a stoop too low. They are the enemy America need worry about, not some filthy savage in a bedsheet somewhere. The American left aim to do more damage than any 'outsider' could...

There is a delusional narrative, increasingly popular in American Politics, predicated on the idea that the United States Constitution and a belief in a Christian God made this country a Garden of Eden. Every step we take away from our origin is a step towards hell.

Such a narrative ignores the fact that this nation was established with the institution of slavery, and the country's expansion was made possible by the genocide of Native Americans (heathen barbarians). Such actions were completely consistent with the teachings of many religious leaders of the day.

Albert Camus said "Integrity needs no rules". One does not have to be religious to be righteous. And professing religious belief does not make one righteous.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, ignorance is not bliss it's a freaking plague. The church has no place what so ever in the government. IF it DID I know many people who would most likely not be alive today, because what happened in Salem Mass would have been happening all over again and not just with so called 'witches'. And guess what, they were wrong too!

Where do you think you came from out of a pile of goo that jump started you with a bolt of lightning? Come on shake your head nothing can come from nothing...... impossible, no way. Where did the goo come from.....its a big lie thats going to drag a lot of people to hell. Quit following the sheep, things aren't going to get better. And the whole hells cool,  where all my friends are going to be partying. Its not gonna be a great party with the mass murders, rapists, theives, and everyone who has denied Jesus. Its your choice, its called free will. The Lord is returning because man has almost destroyed the planet.Your getting a wee preview of what man does when he beleives hes unaccountable....... imagine hell no party.  Read the Bible it won't bite you.

Well the truth is that homosexuality  is a sin in the same way that adultery and fornication. that is now is the time to make peace with God.Romans 1:18-32

Rom 1:19

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.

Rom 1:20

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom 1:22

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Rom 1:23

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Rom 1:24

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 1:26

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Rom 1:28

 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Rom 1:29

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

According to a "poll" by the Star and Sickle propaganda paper, a majority of Americans now support gay "marriage." If that is the case, then how come every state that has voted to keep traditional marraige passed such amendments by overwhelming margins? Now it will come to a vote, and we'll see what happens. I don't see anything "controversial" about what Bradlee Dean said, every word of it is true. Bradlee is a patriot, a constitutionalist, and is God's servant. If you curse him, then you curse God Himself! I know Bradlee and all the people at his ministry, I've been to his church and they are good, kind people. What I found disgusting is all the spineless Republicans who should have stood by him, and instead cowered in fear because they were more worried about saving their own political hide instead of standing up for the truth. Let God be their judge! The real danger to this country is the militant gay "rights" movement. They are hell-bent on forcing their perverse agenda down everybody's throat. Time and time again, they have used a corrupt judiciary to overturn established law and the will of the people. THEY are the ones who are bigoted and intolerant, not Christians. They force this stuff on little children through the public school system and by gay "adoption.' How far we have fallen! In Canada and Sweden, pastors have been arrested for preaching that homosexuality is a sin against God. It'll be just a matter of time before they'll be doing that in this country. Bradlee was merely exercising his First Amendment rights, and that applies everywhere, including in government buildings. There is no "government' property, everything in this world belongs to God, after all, He created it! We are merely given property as a blessing from Him, and we are commanded to exercise good stewardship over what He has given us. The founders of this country understood that all law derives from a higher source than man, that is, from God Himself. If we are not governed by His standards, then by whose standards are we governed? By the whims of whoever is in power? There's a word for that; it's called TYRANNY! If you don't like what Bradlee has to say, then don't listen to him, you can always turn the dial on your radio or TV. He has the same right to address the government officials as anybody else.

A creationist? wow, get a clue man. The god you follow is nothing more than an advanced alien that visited here long ago, and the primitive minds interpreted him as a god.  Who the hell cares what YOUR god says. its called separation of church and state people. Keep your religious beliefs out of my legal system. And the Gay rights movement is only an issue for you closet gay folks. Why do you seek to keep other people who are not like you from being free. Perhaps you feel slavery should be legal? its called civil rights.  This is not a christian nation as you brainwashed folk seem to believe. This is a country where all can worship different religions, and not all religions are based on your book of inconsistent stories. The people who wrote the constitution clearly stated nothing in it is based on Christianity. do some research.  And guess what? My god can kick you gods ass, so shut your pious holes. (sorry, you religious extremists piss me off) I have no wants for this country to ruled by a christian sharia. You are no better than the Taliban.  And if you want to pick and choose items from the bible to deem as sins of the highest nature, how about you read some of the other parts of Leviticus. Eating shellfish is a sin, if your kids mouth off, your god says to kill them. Really? what an awesome religion you have there. There are only a few passages in the ENTIRE bible that make a reference to what could be interpreted as homosexuality. And that is just an interpretation. But the religious fairy tales have no bearing on the issue, that this is government and religious beliefs have absolutely NO place there.

One could make the same argument about any prayer. If someone prays to Satan his prayers may may not be answered. That doesn't mean he should be giving the opening prayer for a Legislative body in a country that has no official religious affiliation.

Did you read the bible?

You should not let a sorceress live.  (Exodus 22:17 NAB)

"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives."  (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death.  (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death.  (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.  (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

From there Elisha went up to Bethel.  While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him.  "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!"  The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord.  Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces.  (2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)

And he smote of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Jehovah, he smote of the people seventy men, `and' fifty thousand men; and the people mourned, because Jehovah had smitten the people with a great slaughter.  And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us?   (1Samuel 6:19-20 ASV)

The ark of God was placed on a new cart and taken away from the house of Abinadab on the hill.  Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab guided the cart, with Ahio walking before it, while David and all the Israelites made merry before the Lord with all their strength, with singing and with citharas, harps, tambourines, sistrums, and cymbals.    When they came to the threshing floor of Nodan, Uzzah reached out his hand to the ark of God to steady it, for the oxen were making it tip.  But the Lord was angry with Uzzah; God struck him on that spot, and he died there before God.  (2 Samuel 6:3-7 NAB)

Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and posses the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants.  (Isaiah 14:21 NAB)

Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood.  (Jeremiah 48:10 NAB)

My angel will go before you and bring you to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites; and I will wipe them out.  (Exodus 23:23 NAB) And just in case the old "but that was the Old Testament, then hippy Jesus came along and it was all rainbows and puppies:"So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.   I will strike her children dead.  Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.  (From the NIV Bible, Revelation 2:22-23)"

I am sorry I could only paste a small percentage of the evil, immoral things the bible passes for truth and justice, but you can go read the rest on your own.I think everybody should be compelled to really read the bible. Not just read, study. That's how the best atheist are made.

Morning Ed, the Bible shows that history will repeat itself and unless God intervenes again  man will destroy the planet. Revelations, (the last Book of the Bible) actually tells you who and where Gog, Magog, and of the alliances that will be made with a common objective to destroy Israel, all 85 miles of it. Alliances you are seeing now being made. China,Russia,Pakastan,Saudis etc. Much postureing all heading towards Israel fullfilling prophecy written 1000's of years ago in the Bible. No Book in the world has undergone such scrutiny and it continues to hold up, continuley being confirmed by Archeological finds. I know that attrocities have been done in the name of religion but its people fullfilling there own agendas, the love of money is the root of all evil 1 Timothy 6-10. Sound familiar, its destroying the USA as well as many other countries and continues to do so. Have you read the 10 commandments? Check them out it's a preview of Gods nature.  The dark ages, rape, pillage,Constantine, the Cathloic abuses etc, thats man doing what ever he wants, denying accountability, all about money and selfgradifacation...free will. That all goes against Gods nature.  No accountability, no God, then whats wrong with survival of the fittest, take what you want. Conscience is from God, listen to it, or sear it so that you can no longer hear it calling.  The lord gave us all free will, feed your neighbour or bomb him, drive drunk or drive sober, its your call.   The Bible also speaks of a one World system in the end times. I don't know if you have read the Bible but what happens is a Peace treaty will be signed in the Middle East between Israel and her enemies which will be broken, and before Israel is completly destroyed then Jesus returns.  The alien theory is feel good but has no credence, none of us want to be told that we will be held accountable one day and that  rules out accountability.  Many Roswell employies have confirmed 51 a  hoax, as have hi ranking officers who  participated, they said it was good PR for raising money. I'm not saying that there aren't ufo's but  many therories suggest that they are generated from this  planet. Are you willing to stake your life/soul on the Alien theory?  Many agendas would like you to, like Satans. If it feels good doesn't mean it is good. Sound stupid, one of the first tactical objectives in warfare is to get into the others camp/false flag. Its a battle for your soul Ed.   Test everything. cheers

@js I hold this partial preterist view that the author of the Book of Revelation was writing a political allegory cloaked in religious symbolism and was writing about the Roman Emperor at the time of his writing, Emperor Nero. Nero was the sixth Roman Caesar.  "Neron Kaisar" (the Greek rendering, documented by archaeological finds), when transliterated into Hebrew נרון קסר (Nrwn Qsr) had a number of 666. The variant number 616 found in some manuscripts of the Greek text of Revelation may represent the alternative Hebrew spelling נרו קסר (Nrw Qsr) based on the Latin form "Nero Caesar". The variant probably existed to keep consistent the meaning of Nero as the beast. The seven-headed dragon is inspired by the Ugaritic myth of the seven-headed sea serpent Lotan.

Regarding an invasion of Israel by Russia (if you do view Russia as Gog and Magog), I think it will unlikely happen for a few following reasons:

1. The Soviet Union was the second county after the U.S. to recognize Israeli statehood.

2. Israel has a very large Russian minority. Russian is the third language most spoken in Israel (after Hebrew and Arabic).

3. Russia and Israel are relatively on good terms despite disagreements over Syrian policy and anti-Semitism still existing in parts of Russia. There is increasing cooperation between Israeli start-ups and Russian businesses. Because the Russian economy depends on its cooperation with Israel, it is unlikely it would wage a war. For what? Oil? Russia has plenty of its own oil and gas, you know?

Hope this clears the confusion. Cheers. :D
