Crosstown Commons: Not finished yet.
After four years, $288 million, 25 new bridges and six additional lanes of traffic, we thought we were through with the Crosstown reconstruction project. Traffic is sailing along. Commuters can concentrate on their cell phones and lattes again. It's finished, right?

Wrong.

Evidently, "a few small things" on the brand spanking new slab of infrastructure need to be fixed, according to MnDOT. The ramp that connects northbound I-35 to the eastbound section of Hwy 62 is going to be closed starting tonight at 8 p.m., and it won't open again until Monday at 5 a.m.

Adjust your attitudes, and plans, accordingly.
