Does anyone else find it funny, that Al Franken only cares about the freedoms of us Americans being infringed upon by "Big Business"?

Just last week the Presidents administration had announced that the "Big Government" will essentially do the same thing by putting GPS in our cars.Yes, Big Brother Wants to Track and Tax You through a "vehicle millage tax". Hey Al, what are your thought on this obvious disrespectful disregard to personal liberties?For our ability to move without someone tracking us? Ya, we know Al."Big Government" = Good!"Big Business" = Bad!Yet the dick known as Al Franken, misses the hypocrisy in his actions. Also, his congressional staffers made that clear to me. Come on Al; when you fight for something you should follow through. Tell the president YOU oppose this sort of oppressive idea!

The average person has ABSOLUTELY NO say in what "Big Business" does, while they have at least the [swiftly eroding!] power to affect what "Big Government" does.

I understand it may be your duty to protect this turd, but the man currently has an awesome ability to protect our rights from both business and government intrusion.For some reason the turd only protects us from one.

Nice try yourself there, buddy. You, once again, prove your indomitable and irrepressible ignorance. You seem to confuse marketplace choice with legislative choice. When Big Business extends beyond the marketplace and begins to exert influence on government, we have a huge problem. When corporate dollars flood campaigns and lobbyists swarm the Hill with pockets flush with slush funds to sway votes towards their sole interests: profits- we have a problem. If I didn't know you better, Kirk, I'd question how someone who so vehemently decries government intrusion in personal life has no problem with corporate intrusion in government. Essentially, you are saying that it is worse to have your life "dictated" by other individuals then it is to have your life "dictated" by massive, faceless greed machines- which, don't fool yourself, is what most corporations devolve into. You get a group of people together in a financial interest and the ONLY common ground available IS profits.

But I do know you better, so I know you like to fool yourself into believing that you are rational, but you prove time and again that you are a petulant, sociopathic and angry person.

Al Franken was not funny to begin with. Of course he isn't a carpetbagger like Tarryl Clark who has purchased a foreclosed condo in ritzy Hermantown (Duluth) to run for congress again but against a different POL. I'm curious if the carpetbagger Tarryl Clark will purchase furniture? Will the carpetbagger Clark sell her St. Cloud abode? Stay tuned for as the carpetbagger spins continues.
