Drudge dogs Franken on iPhone, completely misses the point

Or maybe the famously conservative news aggregator is irked that Franken, an unapologetic liberal, is dogging tech companies that have have shirked responsibilities when it comes to the privacy of their smart-phone users.
Or maybe he's still mad Franken tossed Norm Coleman out of the Senate.
Whatever bothers the guy, Drudge Report's hed linking to a Politico report on Franken's privacy hearings today is a lame retread:

There's his fight with Halliburton/KBR over the gang rape of Jamie Leigh Jones.
NOT FUNNY: SEN. FRANKEN WANTS MILITARY CONTRACTORS PUNISHED WHEN EMPLOYEES RAPE OTHER EMPLOYEES
He humorlessly dogged the Comcast-NBC merger for months.
NOT FUNNY: SEN. FRANKEN WANTS COMCAST-NBC MERGER HALTED OVER ANTI-TRUST ISSUES
And what about "the free speech issue of our time?" Lighten up.
NOT FUNNY: SEN. FRANKEN WANTS NET NEUTRALITY TO GUARD AGAINST POLITICAL CENSORSHIP
It's not as if we haven't made fun of Franken ourselves (See: Imitations, Mick Jagger). But the point here is that Franken's hearings today, at which software honchos from Apple are expected to testify, are about the bedrock issue of privacy for smart-phone users. Drudge completely misses the point.
