All the news that mattered Monday morning.
Front page editors around Minnesota were doubtless biting their fingernails last night as the White House kept pushing back its official announcement that Osama bin Laden had been shot and killed in a firefight outside Islamabad, Pakistan.

But confirmation of the story reached newsrooms in time for them all to banner the news for their readers this morning. The death of the 9/11 mastermind pushed everything aside above the fold. For some, including the Star Tribune, it was the only story on the front page at all.
