2010 is turning out to be a GOP disaster. It allowed the idiots to complete thier takeover of the GOP. That Ryan plan to kill Medicare, Social Security and Grannie early is not playing well. Watch the election in NY-26 this week. The GOPer frantically running away from the Ryan plan and a teabugger to her right sucking off GOPer votes. Result -the Dem is up by +14 in a "reliably republican district" A 2012 preview that is going to happen again and again and again.

we need less politicians, and more business people in the government. Sorry to say, but Tim Pawlenty is right, why should I pay for dumb asses who have no sense of personal responsibility, who think its easier for everyone to do the work or they just steal. I don't work two jobs to support them. Let's cut the social programs and put that money into education, and make it more challenging to be a teacher. Social security was a scam when FDR started it. He knew damn well it would not work, but did it as a way for the government to take more money with no intention of actually returning it to the people that worked hard for the money. The problem with any politician during campaign time is they all try to move to the middle. I vote for one or the other, not the middle... The republicans in Minnesota, who actually are true republicans, tried to make budget cuts that would work to cut our deficit and the dumb ass Dayton vetoed it. So, don't blame Minnesota problems on Pawlenty. He had to deal with a majority democrat legislature.

I call BS. There is no evidence at all to support your notion that the kinds of people who swindled Americans via Wall Street are the best ones to run our nation. Also, nations with better social networks are better off than the US, if you count that the vast majority of the people are happier, have access to health care & education services, and would NOT want to give up their programs. I'm frankly tired of that vocal minority of whiny, spoiled Americans who think they got where they are WITHOUT the support of the society that provided the framework in which they got so wealthy. Selfishness and greed are ugly, no matter how you try to package it and sell it to an exhausted working class.

Tim Pawlenty needs corporate support to win the Republican Primary so how will he get it since he is running against candidates that had been C.E.O. of major corporations? What industries does he like as a future trend or growth? I believe in an all electric transportation society so I would meet with the C.E.O.s of General Electric and Ford Motors. Find out things like, what if it did happen does G.E. believe there would be enough electricity available. Ford Motors will have in 2012 the Ford Focus Electric and the Ford Fiesta Electric in the marketplace. I am recommending the Ford Mustang Electric. I would want to talk to Ford on the potential of their marketing. I like Hollywood and Arnold has his personal problems right now, but talk to Arnold about the California economy. Why is it the number eight economy in the world if it is a country? Jerry Brown might be in the G-8 summit instead of Barack. I like the tablet PC so I would talk to the C.E.O. of Hewlett-Packard. What is the future of software would be a good question for Paul Allen. I like retail like Wal-Mart. They had a tornado problem so it might be good to touch base since calamities are part of the president’s responsibilities. The Mall of America, also called MOA and the Megamall, is in Bloomington, Minnesota. Tim can just set up meetings with the C.E.O.s of the corporations he sees as the future or try to set up meetings with as many corporations as possible. The Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau in his hometown could give him all the information and their contact information. They could even tell him what their organization believes is the cause of the bad economy. Tim probably already knew that.
