Tom Emmer's new gig: KTLK radio jock

• I really likeTom Emmer, but between him and Davis, I am so tired of all of the negativity on the show.  Its a big downer and people get reall tired of hearing how bad the republicans are.  We need to lift up the good in the candidates, so people get excited to get out and vote ore we'll never beat Obama.  PLease, Please stop all the negativity! • I agree, Bob Davis ....fell into a radio program without Ktlk looking for a decent replacement for Chris Baker, then they let Tom Emmers...an idiot who ran a crap capaign, who let a mentalally unstable Mark Dayton win the Governor's election. Why isn't Tom Emmers out there on the news campaigning for conservative values for the State of Minnesota.  His fat ass is sucking up a lucerative offer from a conservative talk radio show that doesn't do a decent job because their current host was a third wheel on the radio show and fell into a position which management apparently determined that was a good fit.  Bob Davis is an idiot and moron and should be fired.  Thats the bottom line for the conservatives of Minnesota

• I am a Conservative Republican.  The Tom Emmers and the Bob Davis "Gig" on their so called show called morning show is quite frankly...boring.  Great for Bob Davis as a secondary side kick to the past Chris Baker.  Bob Davis can't hold a candle to Chris Baker.  I was sorry to hear that Chris Baker moved on, Bob Davis can't run a radio talk show.  He is a moron He talks over people, he talks over them with his own point of view, and not letting them express their point of view, then hammer them.  And quite frankly the radio show suffers because of it. The radio show needs a serious overhaul.  Tom Emmers is a has been who needed a job.  He lost the gubetorial candidacy to a has been failed Democratic Senator.....by the way good job Tom,  who has mental heralth issues, he ran a less than stellar campaign and now he is taking charity by signing on to a radio station as a talk show host. Bob Emmers isn't any better....Hey how about this....revamp your stupid idiotic top 5 shtick on the morning drive...It's boring and no one cares. Ktlk 100.3, Fire these idiots and get someone onboard who is passionate about the conservative movement that will accept other people points of view and them hammer them.  Bob Davis is a black glasses fat overweight moron who "Fell into a promotional position" with a Fox affiliate who is not Fox material

• I have been enjoying Mr Emmer and Mr Davis for several months now and they are both very well informed and clever talk show hosts!  We are very fortunate having them in the mornings!

• At least he isn't driving school bus.

• I hope Emmer takes on issues like the wasteful Vikings stadium spending proposal by the MN GOP is pushing. Also, I'd like to hear his take on why Tony Sutton still hasn't paid many state counties back for recount related costs associated with Emmer's campaign. More than half a year has past. That's ridiculous.

• Spoiler alert on Tom Emmer's new show:   Who's fault is the bad stuff that happens?   The Democrats.   Why?   Because of socialism, atheism, and islamofacism.    Oh yeah, I almost forgot also because of Sharia Law.   Then I bet he will have a book to sell that will fix America for only $19.99.    That's so deep.   No wonder Tea Party Republicans love deep thinkers like Sarah Palin and me.  

• I think Emmer and Davis are sharing an IQ. Emmer is such a weasel word you might call him a Republican Mark Dayton.  Davis and Emmer go on and on, beating the drum about issues that high schoolers wouldn't have a hard time debating. When I'm driving to work (7:00 am) they talk amongst themselves for 20 - 30 minutes, without a single caller.  A real bullsh1t program. KTLK has gone to sh1t!

• Kirk, you got nuthin'.  It is easy to prove that conservatives use pacifying sound bites, instead talking about the real issues.  Oh, like "Liberals have mush for brains".  That one gets a big limp wristed "ouch"!  Bravo, Kirk, keep throwing those puff balls and you'll win over the whole country.

• I prefer to mix gangsta rap with punk when I'm feeling aggressive, but to each his own. I'm also not a  retread or a sock puppet, although I know that's unusual around these parts.

• I know!  That is what I always though, when I used to listen to MPR years ago. Gansta rap and conservative talk radio baby.  It's a pleasant mix. What happened to your old name mcgee?

• "new gig"?   Emmer has been interning there for months now. I listened to him yesterday, day before, last week, last month,  2 months ago... You want to hear the nitty gritty of legislative bills in Minnesota?  Listen in!  100.3 fm 6-9am Monday through Friday.  Perfect for that drive to work.  Yeah I know, details make your liberal brains hurt. Politico-Huffpost talking points are much more soothing to the mush between your ears. See, if the writers at CP were to get out of their parents basement.  Put down the bong, and the xbox controller.  There is a whole world of real knowledge out there.  Like the Fact Emmer has been on the radio for months now.  By the way, do you all remember, when Mark Dayton pledged to NOT SHUT THE STATE GOVERNMENT DOWN, in a debate with Emmer and Horner? And then, Dayton said it again, in a press conference, after being elected. Hmmm, what is Dayton saying now about a shutdown?
