Bachmann & Associates glitter-bombed [PHOTOS]

Gay barbarians, at it again!
It appears Bachmann & Associates, Marcus Bachmann's "pray the gay away" clinic, has become the latest victim of a glitter-bomb.

In pictures released by Nick Espinosa, the same gay rights activist who glitter-bombed Newt Gingrich in May, protesters in barbarian costumes are seen showering the lobby of the Christian counseling clinic where young gay people are sent to get scared straight.

The costumes, and Espinosa's tweeted messages like, "barbarians at the gates," are a reference to Marcus Bachmann's infamous description of gay people as "barbarians" who "need to be disciplined." Looks like the barbarians have taken their revenge.

There's no word yet on what happened in the moments after these pictures was taken, but it's  worth mentioning Michele Bachmann called Capitol Police after she was hit with a similar glitter bomb in San Francisco.

It can be safely assumed that a prayer was said for all of the people in these pictures. As for the gay kids forced to take therapy inside the clinic, exposure this kind of thing will probably set them back weeks in their recovery.

How about them democrat maps of 2004 showing cross hairs on a map of the U.S. in their campaign against Bush?

at least it is just a glitter "bomb" no one got hurt physically maybe some people were emberessed but tough s**t for them. I am a straight woman, interested in men, yet can admit when another woman is beautiful etc. the bottom line is this: I believe you should be allowed to love who ever your heart wants you to love, we are not God therefore we have NO business telling people who to be with. And I don't want it shoved it in my face- not 2 girls, 2 dudes, or guy and girl couple, keep your intiiacy intimate and we should all just go about our lives and quit stressing over what we have no control over or what we have not right to control.

So this is a clinc specificly\exclusivly for homosexual treatment? and people are forced to go there? Thats what this article suggests, but I have a hard time believing it.

This motley crew (and that's putting it kindly) needs to head over to Anoka where they could actually make a difference -

Marcus Bachmann was set up - a gay man comes to his office and asks to be "turned straight" - the people working there do (only) as he wishes, and his office gets slammed.  Bachmann has as much right to run his office and have his beliefs as this motley crew does of having their beliefs -  what on earth is the big deal?

And it's not like you can't find a million things to expose about Michelle Bachmann - she's easily the most embarrassing politician to claim Minnesota as their home since Andrew Volstead (who introduced the Prohibition legislation in 1919) -

Get a grip guys........

Going to be really funny if some over zealous security guards shoots one of the folks one day...

Pretty fantastic and hilarious non-violent action. I think some people are just intimidated by the fact that these protestors are fueled by humor and happiness, and not the machine-gun anger we're all used to. Keep up the good work!

I know the antics are kind of childish but this article still kind of makes me happy. I have never seen glitter and not thought of happiness and sunshine even if it's suspiciously on the skin or clothing of your significant other who was "working late" the night before. Glitter makes the world a happier and shinier place even if it's on something that was previously not so delightful. Yes it makes it's presence known for weeks after it spills but there is never anything wrong with a bit of flair. I can only hope those glitter loving "barbarians" will come glitter bomb this glitter loving girl and we can spread love and happiness as only glitter can.

So you can't put "cross hairs" on you website when referring to a elected official, but you can throw stuff at them?Eventually these people will be charged with a crime.I say, keep it up!

I have got to get my liberal super soaker filled with urine, and get myself invited to one of these events.    Awe, you don't know who sprayed ya with rancid piss?  Well that's to bad.  The infiltration is on!

Here's the problem: Bachmann isn't a real doctor. It's false advertising.

Kirk - always making everything more violent. You're a stand-up guy. Really making the world a great place to be.

I'm sure the City Pages will assist the police in charging you with assault charges at the very least.  We'll watch the local headlines for your well-deserved fate.

Not surprised kirk has gallons of rancid piss stored in his house.

There's a big difference in putting cross hairs over states/cities and throwing glitter at a building. Yes, the glitter thing is stupid but it doesn't suggest violence in any way...unlike the clear message of hate that Palin was trying to send...which you seem to be all for.

Either way I am not surprised by your comment Kirk. Very typical. Kirk the Conservative Dumbass Instigator is more like it.

Jars of piss and volumes upon volumes of studies researching the penis size of homosexual men (view his earlier posts to understand this reference).

You mean like the democrat harry mitchel of Arizoana ran a TV ad against JD Hayworth showing him in the cross hairs of a rifle?  A TV AD!!!How about them democrat maps of 2004 showing cross hairs on a map of the U.S. in their campaign against Bush?

Or you mean like the 15+ year running leftist show on CNN called "crossfire" who commonly did shows showing maps with cross hairs on republican key districts?  (I was one of you liberal losers back then).  Also Crossfire's show slogan was cross hairs. Or when Kilborn of CBS had a episode showing George Bush With a caption in the bottom left corner of the screen saying "snipers wanted"?

Is this the kind of "hate" you're talking about Matt?

Wasn't that kid (Jared Loughner) a registered democrat?

See, if you believe the tripe you've clearly swallowed, you have to agree the Democrat party is the real masterminds behind the "hate" of using cross hairs.

Krik - "See, I think we should teach this in schools...."

I agree! They should teach this in schools! And better sex-education! If we only had money for education. Oh wait, the republicans took away $700 mil from the schools to compromise on the budget deal. Good thing they protected those millionaires!

How about getting the problem BEFORE they become another statistic! Kirk, you acknowledge a problem, how about help fix it instead of hating the group as a whole?

No, just stuff like this from the CDC (Center of Disease Control):

Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM)1 represent approximately 2% of the US population, yet are the population most severely affected by HIV and are the only risk group in which new HIV infections have been increasing steadily since the early 1990s. In 2006, MSM accounted for more than half (53%) of all new HIV infections in the United States.

See, I think we should teach this in schools....

Kirk:

Jared Loughner was registered as an Independent in 2006.  Gabrielle Giffords is a well known liberal Democratic Rep from AZ.  Jared Loughner is also totally fucking nuts.

On the other hand...Timothy McVeigh was a registered Republican and he griped about taxes almost as much as you do.
