Michele Bachmann hopes for unemployment [VIDEO]

Michele wants a new job, and doesn't care if you lose yours.
In Michele Bachmann's ideal world, there is no porn, and there are no jobs.

In an interview with CNBC this morning, Bachmann was asked if her poll numbers might improve as the unemployment rate went up.

"Well, that could be. Again, I hope so."

It'll be hard to narrow down which Bachmann gaffe will haunt her most as she tries to run for president. But rooting for American unemployment so that she can get elected has to be one of the dumbest things she's said yet.

The question came on the heels of this morning's report that unemployment had hit 9.2 percent. But that's not high enough for Michele. Bring on 20 percent, 30 percent -- it's all good news for her!

Bachmann eventually goes into explaining how her "candidacy is one that I am presenting to be a job creator." To be fair, she's technically right.

Bachmann's candidacy is creating jobs -- in the writing rooms of the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report, and the Late Show with David Letterman.

Actually, if she keeps up like this, those guys can just fire their writers. Sometimes Bachmann jokes write themselves.

Typical Mike Mullen and CP. You should mention that She and her husband met while working on the Jimmy Carter Campaign. In light of the 9.2% unemployment now under Obama, A democrat Larry Meyer hack kept asking questions and even though he disagreed with her, He (Larry Meyer) thought she was very intelligent and knowledable. I'm sure she will send a clarifing statement shortly.  By the way, Obama's policies have failed - unemployment is trending up - 9.2% now. His people said on TV Shows this morning "Jobs are not the important thing". Wow!

Yes Kirk, the poor economy and unemployment is ALL Obama's fault...I am sure you have rock solid facts to back that up too!

Yeah, it's great that our new Republican majority has completely turned that around and created enough jobs for everyone. Because that's what they promised in 2010: jobs, jobs, jobs! Apparently they were tricked into thinking that Obama's term ended in 2010, because now it's all Obama's fault that they can't create jobs. Sure, Obama extended the Bush tax cuts - which were sure-fire guaranteed to produce jobs - but it's Obama's fault that businesses are sitting on $2 trillion in profits instead of creating jobs. Remember when Obama went on TV and decreed that no business should hire anyone, ever again? Yeah, me neither.

So your precious Republican majority has tackled the unemployment problem right at the root: by restricting abortion, voting rights, and NPR's funding. I'm amazed that hasn't worked. Everyone said it would. It must be Obama's fault.

What policies have failed? Has he raised taxes? nope! Has he raised interest rates? nope! Is the stock market back up? yup! Has cap and trade or health care reform started yet? Nope! So the rich have low interest rates, low taxes and no new regulations-where are the jobs?

"very intelligent and knowledable"  your opinion about knowledge is no longer valid, because you can not even spell knowledgeable

I don't care what side of the isle you are on, this woman is far from intelligent and has proven time and time again her complete lack of knowledge, especially when it comes to american history.

Mn Voter claims to have a doctorate and to have taught at MIT. He also thinks Obama sets gas prices, except when they go down. This guy, so obsessed with honour, makes a habit of pretending to be dozens of other people in a deceptive attempt to be seen as a disillusioned moderate. But he is too stupid to realise that his profile tracks all of his false personalities. Check out his profile some time.

So, Mn Voter, it's been months now since you promised that you were moving out of the State to avoid the high taxes of Gov. Dayton (though you also claim to have voted for him).Since you are unemployed and your three kids aren't in school over the summer, what's keeping you here? Oh yeah, and you're moving to escape the winter, too. Odd, because you claim to be a native Minnesotan. Did winter just start happening after Obama was elected, or were you lying like you usually do?
