Tarvaris Jackson signs with Seattle, Vikings call Donovan McNabb, reports say
| Jackson looks headed west without ever getting a chance. |
If the rumor's true, it means Jackson, a 2006 Vikings draft pick, spent five seasons with the Vikings and never got much of a chance -- thanks in large part to the strange, ultimately regrettable second unretirement of Brett Favre.
But, on the bright side, this clears the way for yet another Favre comeback to the Vikings.
Just kidding. It looks instead like the Vikings are looking to replace T-Jack with the youthful corpse-like arm of Donovan McNabb.
Originally, it was rumored that Favre was the Seahawks' target. This led to a flurry of rushed reports and rumors that have since been retracted.
Meanwhile, ESPN says the Vikings have made a call to Donovan McNabb, the 34-year-old who last year led the Washington Redskins to 6-10 misery and feuded with coach Mike Shannahan.
| McNabb might be Vikings quarterback by tomorrow, or maybe never. |
So, by tomorrow morning the Vikings quarterback will either be Tarvaris Jackson, Brett Favre, Donovan McNabb, or any other human being with an agent and three or more fingers.
