Demonstrators blame John Boehner and Michele Bachmann for joblessness in Minnesota.
U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner took a trip to Minnesota's suburbs yesterday to play golf and rub elbows with some of our state's mega-rich donors.

On the heels of an epic bipartisan standoff in Congress, not everyone at the golf outing was there to welcome Boehner.

Hundreds of protesters rallied outside the Wayzata Country Club to criticize the Speaker, blaming the Ohio Congressman and his fellow Republicans for Minnesota's unemployment problems.

Here are a few pictures from the protest:

Busloads of protestors showed up to call out the Republican Congressmembers. We're guessing none of these people went for the $10,000 lunch and round of golf with the Speaker.

U.S. Reps. Michele Bachmann, John Kline, and Erik Paulsen were also on the guest list. Don't they look happy?

Excellent.  Golfer of the House still incapable of creating jobs, thus the 9% approval rating.

Interesting to note that Minnesota's unemployment rate was 8.4% in April of 2009 - before Boehner was Speaker of the House - and now it's 6.7%.  He's killed a negative amount of jobs here.

He probably didn't have a lot to do with Minnesota's employment rate but he needs to be held accountable for his own district. Southwest Ohio is a disaster area as far as jobs are concerned. This can't be blamed the current administration it has been happening all during Boehner's time in office. The man has done nothing for his district.
