Michele Bachmann on Elvis' Death Date: "Happy birthday!" [VIDEO]

Michele Bachmann wishes Elvis "Happy Birthday" on the anniversary of his death.

​Michele Bachmann wished Elvis Presley "Happy Birthday!" on the anniversary of his death, providing yet another glimpse into how oblivious she really is behind those wild eyes.

"Before we get started, let's all say happy birthday to Elvis Presley today!" Bachmann announced to the South Carolina crowd after coming out to the Presley's "Promised Land."

But she got August 16--the date of the King's death in 1977--confused with his birthday (January 8, 1935).

A guy in the crowd shouted out a correction: "He died today!"

But Bachmann was too dumb too listen, instead barreling forward with her canned speech, like a president reading from a teleprompter.

It was only later that she corrected herself, saying, "As far as we're concerned, he's still alive in our hearts!"

As well as in the Weekly World News, where he is regularly spotted with Bat Boy.

One thing is for certain: Michele Bachmann is a hunk of burning stupid.
