Minneapolis police release sketch of suspected abductor [PICTURE]
The man is wanted for trying to take a 14-year-old girl against her will, trying to force her into his car as she walked home from school around 4 p.m. on September 26. The girl fought back and escaped. She was able to offer police a few details about the car, and remembered enough about the man who tried to take her to make for a police drawing of his face.
The car, which had followed the girl until the driver attempted to grab her near the 10th Avenue Bridge, is a black four-door sedan, and the girl recalled that the first letter of the license plate is "K."
The man is described as being black, between the ages of 27 and 33, and between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3. At the time of the attempted abduction, the man was wearing a long red T-shirt and black jeans.
Anyone who has information that could help identify this man or lead to his arrest should contact the police TIPS line at 612-692-8477.
