Grizzly bears demonstrate best way to dispose of Halloween pumpkins [VIDEO]

These bears will destroy a pumpkin, or each other, or you, if you want.

​Okay, so Halloween is, way, way, over now. If you haven't already bought your Thanksgiving turkey and hung all of your Christmas decorations, you are totally behind and kind of an embarrassment to the neighborhood.

But, for you slackers out there who still have a couple pumpkins on the porch and don't know what to do with them, City Pages and the Minnesota Zoo would like to show you the proper way to get rid of them. It's fast, efficient, and pretty interesting to watch.

Here's how you do it. Step 1: While carrying around your leftover pumpkin, find a couple of grizzly bears. Step 2: RUN AWAY THEY WILL RIP YOU APART. Step 3: Hopefully, you got so scared you dropped the pumpkin. Don't worry, they'll take care of the rest.

Admittedly, the way these two local bears go after this huge thing isn't the cleanest way to get rid of a pumpkin. As you'll notice, there's not a whole lot of eating going in this video. Instead, they're just tearing this damn thing -- and, at one point, very nearly each other -- to shreds.

It's a bit like when you try to give some leafy vegetable to a dog, and the dog continues to lick and bite at it, understanding that it's some sort of food, but disappointed by the taste. The bears continue to bite at it, but never actually swallow any of this thing.

Well, anyway, would your neighbors really complain about the mess, if it meant they had to try to confront these beasts?

In fact, let's just start lugging all our holiday junk down to the zoo and letting these two take care of it. Christmas tree? Smashed to bits. Unwanted fruit cake? Ground down to dust. Lame Valentine's Day card from that guy down the hall? Just show him this video and he won't be bothering you anymore.
