• I just don't get your continued, ad nauseum bashing of CityPages' blog section. Is there something to prove here? Will it make a difference? Is there any context? I don't think so. I think your time would be better spent somewhere else, rather than repeatedly showing up here and telling us that the articles we are reading are stupid and pointless. You seem to want CityPages to be very similar to RedState or FoxNation. I don't think that's going to happen. I don't consider a publication that is quoting Bachmann's own words to be "bashing", either. I also think that it's completely pathetic that our 'real' local media refuse to cover Bachmann's remarks. If you support Bachmann, isn't an article explaining her position, in her own words, a positive thing? It's actually a little odd when Bachmann supporters demand that the media *ignore* their candidate's public statements, isn't it? As someone who actually read the article, I found that the context was provided. There was even a link to the Gregory interview. The President's response to the remarks were also included. Rasmussen (the most right-wing national pollster in the country) published survey results that showed 51% of Americans think that Bachmann's views are "extreme". Only 27% consider her to be "mainstream". In addition, 59% of Minnesotans have an "unfavorable" opinion of her. In a hypothetical match-up with Klobuchar, Bachmann loses by 20 points. Even Republican primary voters have her at 3% support nationally. You seem to be in the minority as a person who takes her seriously.

• Hell, if CP promises to keep me on the front page so that my views can be read by all, I WILL PERSONALLY COME OUT IN FAVOR OF TORTURE.  Possibly even the selling of 'traditional' pets as food. As much as CP hates MB, they sure give her a lot of publicity.......
