• It's not saying all blacks are bad people, but these are the type of blacks that give blacks a bad name, look at the video, its not racist to say you see all blacks being violent, its the truth like it or not, and other blacks should be angry at these people for these actions. • I seem to remember a bunch of UMN students (mostly white) rioting when the concert headliner cancelled a couple of years ago. They were setting fires, flipping cars, etc. I don't remember any comments judging all white people based on the students' skin colors. So yeah, there's been "several incidents involving large groups of black teens running around like violent, mindless assholes," but there's also been several incidents of white teens doing the same. I know my example was from a couple of years ago, but it stuck out to me because it was SUCH a big deal (I was going to UMN at the time) and involved a similar situation ("cancelled" appearances by musicians).  I just hope you make the same comments about white teens when stories involving them pop up (which happens PLENTY often), otherwise, yeah, it is kind of racist.

• Well, 85% of Minnesotans are white, so yeah, I would assume that the majority of drunk drivers in the state are white. And the state, though perhaps inefficiently, does take drunk driving extremely seriously. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make there. • Violent crime is down across the board.  Incidents like this have been going on for a long time.   Teens will do stupid violent things from time to time.  It has nothing to do with skin color it has to do with being poor, fatherless or just a teenager.     I just find it funny how quick people are to point out the race of any minority criminal.    Does the white community have a problem with drunk driving?    I would bet a vast majority of drunk drivers in Minnesota are white.   Have you talked to your white community about drunk driving?   Why don't we get to the root cause of that?    Way more people die from that than flash mob violence.    Maybe now you see how sill you sound blaming all black people for 200 dumbasses.  I'm just glad the kids and or the victims didn't have guns then we would have dead bodies to talk about.

• Look, race-based generalizations can be dangerous, but when there are several incidents involving large groups of black teens running around like violent, mindless assholes, it's perfectly okay to say that black teens need to get their shit together. To say something like "all teens, regardless of skin color, have a capacity for aggression and violence" simply doesn't cut it. I think it's okay to state openly that black kids are disproportionately prone to this type of shit. That's a good starting point. Next, we need to have an honest investigation of the root causes.

• It's hilarious, of course, but Kirk claims (based on his number of "likes") that he is supremely logical - almost Spock-like.

•  It reminds me of the "zoot suit riots", which were part of that "simpler, more moral time" that conservatives long to return to.
