Target quietly used a child model with Down Syndrome in this ad that ran over the holidays.

​Last night NBC Nightly News profiled Ryan Langston, the child model with Down Syndrome who recently appeared in a Target ad that won the local retailer plaudits for inclusion.

We told you about Ryan Langston last week. He had appeared in a Target ad over the holidays, which was generating buzz online.

"Target is committed to diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business, including our advertising campaigns," told City Pages. "Target has included people with disabilities in our advertising for many years and will continue to feature people that represent the diversity of communities across the country."
