Hezekiah Hamilton arrested in connection with murder of Jody Patzner Jr.

Hamilton, 24, lives on the 3600 block of Fremont Avenue North, just one block away from where Patzner was gunned down during an attempted bike robbery. He was arrested at home.
Asked about the circumstances of the arrest, Sgt. Steve McCarty of the Minneapolis Police Department said it followed a couple of days of "good police work and surveillance." He said more details would be emerge in the criminal complaint, to be released later today or tomorrow.

A WCCO report quotes Patzner's farther, Jody Patzner Sr., as saying that while Hamliton lives just a block away from the home he shared with his son, he doesn't know him.
"I don't want to cry on camera... it's a sigh of relief," Patzner Sr. said. "I hope he gets what's coming to him. Justice will be served."
