Dean blasted the MNGOP after party leadership demanded St. Cloud students cancel his scheduled appearance.
Bradlee Dean isn't taking the news that MNGOP leadership is demanding St. Cloud State Republicans cancel his scheduled on-campus appearance lying down.

Yesterday, on his radio show, Dean put the MNGOP on blast, saying that if he were a state Republican leader, he wouldn't want himself speaking to young conservatives either.

Alluding to the Koch-Brodkorb scandal, Dean suggested party leaders don't want him talking about morality because they're so mired in immorality themselves. He characterized the students' willingness to host him in spite of the MNGOP's threats as a sign they can see through the party leadership's charade.

Here's a transcript of Dean's remarks (the audio can be found here):

[MNGOP leadership] sounds like they have something to hide, perhaps?... You have issues with the economy because you have immoral people working in government. That's why the economy is a mess, hello! Lie, steal, covet, cheat -- but let's not talk about that, let's not have Bradlee Dean and the crew come down [to St. Cloud]. I wouldn't want me there neither if I was [the MNGOP]. Because then somebody might be corrected and God forbid we bring about change! That's what the younger generation is saying no to -- 'we've had enough of your games, and we're going to get our country back.'
After all, even if the St. Cloud students really do end up blacklisted from MNGOP employment because they refuse to cancel Dean's appearance, it's not like that's such a big deal. Unable to pay rent, the MNGOP is probably not hiring right now anyway, so perhaps young conservatives will have better luck applying for work with Dean's You Can Run But You Can't Hide ministry.

You go Bradlee keep on fighting to spread the truth to the newer generation and just maybe we can bring this nation back to what it was founded under by our forefathers!!!

Hi, I can see you're confused. Americas forefathers left England to escape religious prosecution, and founded this great land on freedom FROM religion. That is, we the people should worship how we please. They wrote a constitution that outlines that fact plus many other freedoms. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness kind of deal. There is also the whole limit of government, and the people should rule, and limit governments power. Not the other way around, as proposed by this new breed of Biblical literalists, those who want to impose their own beliefs on others vis a vis amendments and laws. But for anyone who would cheer on the likes of a phony bigot, the facts of the matter are undoubtably above their heads.

You sir, are a god damn idiot. 1. We left England to escape PERSECUTION, not prosecution2. We founded this land on Freedom OF Religion, which allows us to worship how we please3. Name one law that a "Biblical Literalist" has moved to enact through Congress4. In no way, shape, or form, do you state facts in your liberal rant. 5. How is it that you so blithley call people "confused", when in actuality, its you who is wrong.6. Anyone who would cheer for this "phony bigot" is using their 1st Amendment Rights. You know...one of the Freedoms you talk about.7. Fuck, I just want to punch you in the neck for being a god damn fucktard.

Please...go take a long walk off a short pier...idiot.

Brazilmacho, so in Brazil do you address "your mom" as sir? (I guess so, which might explain why you're so angry.)

1. I don't know about your ancestors, but some of mine came over in 1648 for purely secular reasons. Family lore has it that they sharped some nobles on a horse deal. I know religion had nothing to do with their moving here.2. Freedom of religion implicitly implies the freedom not to worship at all. The founding fathers were Deists, and most of them would be Unitarians today. Remember, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"? No, I didn't think you did.3. Prohibition, blue laws that close businesses on Sundays, the criminalization of adultery, not letting bastards inherit....the list is quite endless or did you just mean in this last session?  (Birth control restrictions, abortion restrictions, invasive medical mandates for women only -- say, do you know the difference between evangelical legislation and Sharia law? Answer: there isn't any, not if you're a woman)4. Your mom wrote clear, concise sentences. I can see why you're confused.5. You are very good at asserting things. You must be a Christian.6. Ah yes, the freedom to scream HELLFIRE! in a crowded church.7. Before you punch out Your mom, I'd like to get in that line ahead of her. You may find it somewhat more difficult to fight a 280-lb, 6-foot guy than it is to punch Your mom.

Take your short pier and put it where it will give you the most pleasure, asshole.

Macho indeed! Lol

Ooh! So angry! Can't decide what I like best about your little tirade, the fact that you're unclear on history, are unaware of laws and mandates based on religious morality, that you tried to use "liberal" as a slur, or that simple semantics just sends you into a tailspin.Probably the visual of you frothing at the mouth as you used your elbows to mash out your post in fury is my favorite part. lol. I love the Internet tough guy. So mad! So impotent!Go play with your legos. The grownups are talking.

No one knows hate like a phony God guy.

Dean doesn't use scripture to bring people to God, he uses it like a hammer to nail his political theses to the skulls of his enemies, and he picks on school children because grownups would beat the crap out of him for his myriad heresies.

The new GOP-blessed Christianity: it's not for everyone, especially not you.

So, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was this movie. A guy in the movie said that thing I said when two people were getting ugly with each other, and he found it amusing. He didn't have popcorn though. Sucks to be him.

Just because one is not jumping up and down shouting slurs at the top of their lungs, does not mean they're not spreading hate.  In fact, the better concealed it is, the deeper it is allowed to permeate and cause damage.  This guy consistently shows up under false pretenses and uses whatever stage people are dumb enough to give him to spread a cancer of hatred throughout society.
