City Pages nominated for 23 SPJ Page One Awards

The 23 nominations cover work from 2011 and match the number of nominations we received last year. In 2010 we received 17, and in 2009 we received 27.
We compete in the large newspaper category against the Star Tribune and Pioneer Press. First-place winners will be announced at a banquet on June 19. Here's a complete list of our work nominated by SPJ:
