Mpls's Tyrone Higgins uses his ex as punching bag; six domestic violence charges in year

That's bad, but here's something worse: Since last July, Higgins, 24, has been charged with six domestic violence-related crimes ... all of them involving his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend. Including Sunday's incident, he's allegedly beaten her four times during the last 10 months.
Can Twin Cities women take out a class-action restraining order against this guy or something?
According to the Pioneer Press, Higgins and his ex have a 2-year-old son. But shortly after his birth, the relationship apparently went awry: The woman obtained an Order for Protection against Higgins barring him from having contact with her all the way back on October 7, 2010.
The first documented incident of Higgins-on-his-ex violence occurred the following July, when he pushed her down at her Pierce Street apartment and hit her, causing a cut on her neck. Higgins's ex was "heavily crying and sobbing" when police arrived, according to the criminal complaint.
In August 2011, Higgins allegedly assaulted his ex again. Two months later Judge Robyn Millenacker sentenced him to 55 days in jail for both of the incidents. Higgins was also placed on probation for two years for sending e-mails to his ex after the second assault.
This April, Higgins was visiting his ex and their young son in her St. Paul home when he became angry and beat the woman up for a third time. According to the complaint, Higgins became upset when his toddler accidentally head-butted him in the testicles. Higgins -- you can't make this up -- told the child, "What the fuck! When you get older, I am going to punch you in the balls!" He then got into a physical altercation with his baby's mother.
He then allegedly tried to text his ex three days later, violating his probation. That case is pending. Earlier this month, Judge Rosanna Nathanson sentenced Higgins to another 45 days in jail for the April assault, but gave him two weeks to turn himself in. And guess what? He used those two weeks to break his ex's arm last Sunday.
Higgins said he wanted to see his son when he arrived at his ex's place last Sunday. When the woman -- now 13 weeks pregnant by another man -- told him to leave and he didn't cooperate, she called 911 on her cellphone. Higgins allegedly came up behind her, grabbed her arm, and twisted it up, causing a "comminuted" fracture -- in other words, the bone was fragmented into pieces. She'll need surgery.
After breaking her arm, Higgins made off with her still-on-the-line-with-911 cell phone and hopped into an awaiting vehicle. As 911 operators listened, he told his accomplice "We gotta go, now!" and "The faster you move, the better!" He then told his accomplice: "You can be my alibi. Say I was at church or something." Then the call disconnected.
When arrested, Higgins first denied assaulting his ex, but eventually admitted to wrenching her arm when police told him operators had been listening to the conversation with his accomplice.
