The mysterious naked man police don't want you to see

If this is you, give City Pages a call.
Remember that creepy old naked guy that you saw in pretty much every media outlet in town earlier this week?

The Bloomington Police Department wants you to forget him.

So much so that the department has asked media organizations to take down the pictures that the police themselves released in an effort to find the man.

Naked pictures of the man had been appearing around town, with the face blacked out. In a feat of epic sleuthing, police managed to erase the Magic Marker and come up with a recognizable likeness of the man whose donger was on full display.

Police released said pictures to the media -- it was all over the TV news as well as sites like, well, Citypages.com.

Now police have issued the following request:

Police politely request that we all forget that creepy old naked guy.

The PD isn't going to be successfully sued for trying to stop obscenity from being posted in its parks and elsewhere, even if the dude is a victim in this case. As far as I'm concerned, when you pose for pictures in your birthday suit, you are asking for the photos to show up somewhere you don't want them to. History teaches us that, time and time again.  Dudes, don't take pictures that show your wiener, it's gonna turn up somewhere. Period.

Uh, the victimization would come from a spurned lover posting them in parks...I don't think anyone thinks he was tied up in a wooded area and made to hide his lips (seriously, this guy has no lips), hold his hands in the air, and take off his pants...he's clearly done his hair and is muscle posing...hard to get someone to do their hair at gunpoint.

I saw the pics city pages posted yesterday, and the dude was genuinely smiling in a few of them. He may be a victim in the sense that he took these photos for a girlfriend or something and they are now being posted all over without his consent or knowledge, but the possibility of him being a victim (as in the photos were forced or something) doesn't seem likely.

Twould appear a city attorney mentioned that if this guy is a victim rather than the perpetrator, Bloomington PD just got a lot poorer....by which I mean we all just paid for this
