Andy Parrish is taking credit for Michele Bachmann's victory in the Ames straw poll one year ago today.
If that counts as a valid inference, then here's another one for you -- Aaron Rupar won 15 Society of Professional Journalist first-place awards this year.
Parrish, who last summer worked as Bachmann's senior policy adviser before taking a job as Minnesota for Marriage's spokesman, offered up the following tweet earlier today:
Fellow conservative Aaron Horak rightly called Parrish's BS out. "You ran for President last year? Man I never knew!" Horak replied.1 year ago today I had the joy of wnning the Iowa Straw Poll. An experiance I will never forget!!

If Parrish is taking credit for Bachmann's didn't-matter-in-the-grand-scheme-of-things victory in Ames, imagine how he'll react if the same-sex marriage ban is approved this November. It'll be like he personally broke out his pen and amended Minnesota's constitution by hand or something.
