According to the U.S Attorney's Office:
Giang Nguyen, a 48-year-old mail carrier in Duluth, was charged with one count of mail theft in federal court Thursday.
Between March 2010 and January 2011, Nguyen allegedly ransacked his mail bag for Menards-related swag, including applications for rebate checks, actual rebate checks, and Menards "Big Game Money Cards."
The brilliant scheme came to an end on January 7, 2011, when Nguyen was arrested in Menards. If convicted of the federal crime, he could face up to five years in prison.
