No one expects to find a toddler, much less one in Superman pajamas, wandering the highway.
It's a bird, it's a plane, its a...?!

Guadalupe Ollarzabal and his 14-year-old daughter Lydia were driving along Wisconsin's Highway 19 on Tuesday night when they saw an odd entity scurrying along the road and darting between vehicles. The creature then ran across the road like it was trying to get to the cornfield beyond.

Curious, Ollarzabal turned around and turned on his brights. What he saw shocked him.

"It was a little boy in Superman pajamas," Ollarzabal told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The 20-month-old little boy was holding his blankie, and he started crying when Lydia Ollarzabal picked him up. All he would say was "Mommy working, daddy sleeping."

Ollarzabal called 911, and a Dodge County sheriff's deputy arrived and knocked on the door of a house nearby, in the town of Portland.

"It was just a stroke of luck it was his house," Ollarzabal told the Journal Sentinel.
