Best Buy, Target both make "Top 10 Commercials of the Week" list [VIDEOS]

New commercials from Best Buy are Target have been critically acclaimed.

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Overdrawn Thursday... it's that time of the year again, folks.

Which means, among other things, new commercials from retailers, including Best Buy and Target, that would like nothing more than to take some of your money in exchange for holiday gifts.

This year, both Best Buy and Target have received critical acclaim for their latest offerings, as both companies cracked Adweek's "Top 10 Commercials of the Week" list during the competitive period surrounding Black Friday.

Here's Best Buy's "What Will Your Gift Do?" ad, which in the words of Best Buy shows "ordinary people" doing "incredible things with the gift of a smartphone, camera, gaming device and laptop."



And here's Target's "Big Dog" ad, which shows a really big bag-toting dog romping through a snow globe-esque town.



All three comments on Adweek's article express disappointment with Adweek's top 10 list -- "These are terrible choices to be in a top-anything," one wrote. You're sitting around watching commercials on your own free will, dude. What do you expect?
