Brian Riesgraf's 'Drunk Vikings Fan Eats Ice Cream With Credit Card' photo goes viral

This picture of a woman losing it after her drunken man is busted eating ice cream with a credit card has taken the internet by storm.
:::: UPDATE :::: Drunk Vikings Fan tells his side of the ice cream story [INTERVIEW]

Noon Vikings games can make you feel sorta bad for your fellow humans. You look around and see folks who have been imbibing since before the sun came up yelling obscenities, burping and farting, gorging themselves and just generally creating a sad scene.

Brian Riesgraf's photo of a young couple who were sitting in front of him at last Sunday's game captures what a noon Vikings experience is like better than a thousand words ever could. And as a result, the photo, which he shared on Twitter hours after the game, has been retweeted 235 times and viewed more than 1.1 million times on Imgur.

Here's the chronology of some of Riesgraf's Sunday tweets -- including the now-infamous 'Drunk Vikings Fan Eats Ice Cream With Credit Card' pic -- along with some of the reaction. Later, it came to light that the Metrodome incident with his lady didn't demarcate the end of Drunk Vikings Fan's Sunday boozing: And apparently, Drunk Vikings Fan is at peace with all the unflattering attention he's received: Consider the whole episode an example of how, thanks to social media, 15 minutes of fame has never been more easily attainable.

@johnrmayo you are a crash, idiotic excuse for a man. I feel sorry for any female who chooses to date, marry or may be fathered by you!

You must be really ignorant!  You were not there and just made a million assumptions.  You must not have a girlfriend and if you do I feel really sorry for her that she would put up with someone that is completely disrespectful as yourself.  She is absolutely beautiful, not a nag and they are happily married!!!! I know them personally asshole!!  Don't believe everything you read.  The funniest part of it all is she was not even upset about the eating his ice cream with a credit card!!! So jokes on you!  Quit assuming and making yourself look like an ignorant ass.

Wow. This is one of the least professional stories I've ever seen City Pages partake in. I don't know everything about journalistic legalities, but I'm pretty sure this is a form of libel, which is illegal. Why would you publish something that makes unsubstantiated allegations about 1) this man's character and 2) the relationship between two normal people? If I were the people involved, I would be furious (and I'm usually a pretty easy-going guy).  This has the same affect as reality TV - it's meant to use others shortcomings to make the audience feel more superior. Was did the guy do that was wrong - forgot to grab a spoon, so he used his credit card to eat ice cream? While that's unorthodox, it's also resourceful. It's almost kind of punk rock. This article is irresponsible and would be taken down by any respectful publication.

@TheMoreYouKnow It is unprofessional because Aaron Rupar is unprofessional.  He failed Journalism 101 in Junior High School.  But City Pages hired him because he claims to be a political expert. He constantly posts articles about Michelle Bachmann and her "gaffes", yet in every article he posts, someone ALWAYS has to correct him in his gaffes.  He is a moron.  And is an embarrassment to City Pages.  FIRE THE DIPSHIT!

The girl in the photo is my best friend.  Yes, they both find the picture and the story hilarious and are not upset or offened in any way.  But what they do not appreciate are the assumptions of why she was mad and her to be made out to look like a b*tch.  Her & him are the coolest nicest people ever with a sense of humor.  So laugh, enjoy the photo but keep your assumptions to yourselves!!! Thanks!

@jaykaygee7302 I dont think anyone thinks she's a bitch over this, everyone understands the frustrations of putting up with a drunk.

Unfortunately there have been several comments made about her on all the different sites, which are not fair.  Not everyone is as understanding as yourself.  Ex: the mans comment above
