The plan doesn't give much to Republicans, so it's not surprising that they aren't exactly jumping at the offer. But it sounds like Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison might be at odds with Obama on this one as well.
In an interview with CNN yesterday, Ellison said he didn't yet know all the details of the offer, but would not support a plan that included entitlement cuts.
"I can tell you this: we're not going to stand back and let seniors, people with disabilities, the most low-income, vulnerable people in this country, bare the brunt of this fiscal entanglement," said Ellison.
