Michele Bachmann is panicking over Bill Clinton's imminent arrival

This afternoon, Michele Bachmann sent an all-caps SOS to conservatives: SAVE ME FROM BILL CLINTON!

Here's what the email said:

Fellow Conservative -- NO TIME TO EXPLAIN.

I JUST GOT WORD BILL CLINTON IS COMING TO MY DISTRICT TOMORROW TO PERSONALLY CAMPAIGN AGAINST ME.

I need your support right away!!

Of course, Bachmann has quite the history with Clinton. Back in August 2010, she claimed that Big Willy was trying to "take her out," mafia-style. For his part, Clinton has called Bachmann "divorced from reality."

Will a last minute push by Clinton be enough to put challenger Jim Graves over the top?

I think we should all start a rumor that Clinton and Bachmann had a late-night rendez-vous at the Graves 601 Hotel. Actually, I'm terribly sorry I even typed that just now. I may never get the appalling viisuals out of my head.
