On November 19, around 7 a.m., the student was walking from her car through Riverside Park when a man who looked to be between 35 and 40 years old approached her. First he wanted money. Then he forced her into a wooded area nearby and sexually assaulted her, police say.
The college sent out a crime alert notifying students of the horrific incident, which included a description of the suspect. But more than a week later, police have not been able to track down the perpetrator.
