The breakfast of champions, if you're looking to win some sort of alcoholism championship.
Here's a drinking pro tip, kids -- if you down a bottle of tequila for breakfast, your day has nowhere to go but down.

One drunken soul learned that lesson the hard way last Friday when he was hauled to detox with a .54 blood-alcohol level... before 10 a.m.

From the Hastings Star Gazette:
The caller said the man was too drunk the night before, and he invited him home to sleep it off.

The man woke up and drank a bottle of tequila in the morning. When he was taken back to the 2100 block of Vermillion Street, he wouldn't get out of his friend's car, and police were called.

The man had a blood-alcohol-content of .54 at 9:43 a.m.
"Too drunk the night before," then he gets up and downs a bottle of tequila first thing the next morning? Well, that's one way to take care of a hangover.
