Sharon Bloom slaying to be featured on "Motives and Murders" Saturday

One day in November 1989, Bloom never returned from work. Her body turned up in a cornfield 10 days later.

Police suspected Bloom's co-worker Stephan James Zanter to be the killer, but didn't have enough evidence to convict.

Investigators finally linked Zanter to the murder a decade later through advancements in DNA technology. In 2003, he admitted to beating Bloom to death with a hammer, after she confronted him about harassment.

The episodae airs at 8 p.m. Saturday on Investigation Discovery (not to be confused with the Discovery Channel).
