Many johns lauded "Kelly's" "runner's body" in online reviews, The Smoking Gun reports.
Three-time Olympian and nine-time NCAA champion Suzy Favor Hamilton has confessed to leading a secret life as a high-end prostitute since December of last year.

She was outed in a Smoking Gun report published yesterday after one of Favor Hamilton's clients who knew her secret contacted the publication and gave them the scoop. According to the report, when Favor Hamilton, 44, was initially approached by a reporter in the lobby of a Las Vegas hotel earlier this month, she denied accusations she was living a double life. But she later came clean and posted a string of tweets yesterday in which she said she takes "full responsibility" for her choices.

Here's an excerpt of the Smoking Gun's report:
While Favor Hamilton has used an alias, "Kelly Lundy," when working as an escort, she inexplicably shared her true identity with several male clients, believing that her secret was somehow safe with strangers who paid for her company by leaving envelopes stuffed with cash on bathroom vanities in swanky hotels...

Favor Hamilton described the escort business as "exciting," an illicit midlife diversion from her routine existence, one in which she operates a successful Madison, Wisconsin real estate brokerage with her husband, delivers motivational speeches, and does promotional work for various businesses and groups, including Disney's running series and Wisconsin's Potato & Vegetable Growers Association...

Referring to a client she suspected of contacting a reporter, Favor Hamilton said, "He totally broke all the rules by outing me." But she stressed that returning fire was not her style. "I don't want to be like him. Because he is scum. And I will not become scum to make myself feel good," Favor Hamilton said. "I will not do it. I would suffer rather than go that route of being vindictive."...

After being contacted by Favor Hamilton, one of her clients wrote a TSG reporter offering "some money to prevent [a story] from coming out...I would do anything to protect her." In a July 2012 online review, the client--who recounted two separate encounters with "Kelly"--enthused, "She is worth every penny. I will go bankrupt before I stop seeing her. I hope no one else goes to see her, because I want her all to myself." He added, "I never thought I would find anyone in this hobby like her."...\

[According to an online profile, her rates ranged] from $600 for one hour to $6000 for a 24-hour period. "Kelly," the [profile] noted, provided "Full GFE," or "girlfriend experience," an intimate, less mechanical encounter. Additionally, the rate schedule noted, clients would be charged a $300 supplement for a particular sex act.
Favor Hamilton -- she's married and the mother of a seven-year-old daughter -- reportedly worked for the Haley Heston's Private Collection escort service. A tour publicized earlier this year by Haley Heston's staff noted that "Kelly" would be making a stop in Minneapolis.

After the Smoking Gun's report was published, Favor Hamilton posted a string of tweets serving as a lengthy explanation and apology:
I realize I have made highly irrational choices and I take full responsibility for them. I am not a victim here and knew what I was doing. I was drawn to escorting in large part because it provided many coping mechanisms for me when I was going through a very challenging time with my marriage and my life. It provided an escape from a life that I was struggling in. It was a double life. I do not expect people to understand, but the reasons for doing this made sense to me at the time and were very much related to depression. As crazy as I know it seems, I never thought I would be exposed, therefore never hurting anybody. I have been seeking the help of a psychologist for the past few weeks and will continue to do so after I have put things together. I cannot emphasize enough how sorry I am to anyone I have hurt as a result of my actions and greatly appreciate the support from family and those closest to me. I fully intend to make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend.
Favor Hamilton is from Stevens Point and currently lives in Madison, where she was a legendary runner while attending the University of Wisconsin during the late 1980s.

It's not just Ms. Favor.....Women are cheating all over the place, nowadays!! (Leann Rimes, Favor Hamilton, Kristen Stewart, Rita Ora/Kardashian, the women of the Petraeus scandal). AND research shows female infidelity now rivals, or EXCEEDS, that of male cheating.

My latest book, "I Steal Wives: A serial adulterer reveals the REAL reasons more and more 'happily married' women are cheating" is a salacious, self-deprecating, at times funny, and penetratingly insightful look at this EXPLOSIVE new phenomenon that is the radical uptick in female infidelity. And the REAL reasons aren't the typical blather you hear on talk-TV or read in the 'second hand' accounts of some psychologist's self-help book.

"I Steal Wives" is the FIRST BOOK EVER WRITTEN on female infidelity from the FIRST-HAND, insider perspective of a serial adulterer who had affairs with the wives of 25+ men (and a few women) and who has a therapist's eye for patterns in behavior and core beliefs driving the behaviors (never cheated with clients). It's the relationship version of "How to Secure Your House, as told by a professional burglar." The raw truths will startle women, shock men, and forever change how you do relationships and understand women. Check it out at Amazon.

Ms. Favor Hamilton is not the last. There will be another woman next week...

I wouldn't pay 600 an hour for her or any other women. One can only imagine the creepy things she has done with some creepy people!

"I fully intend to make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend."

(1) We've all seen the horns on hubby's head and he knows it.

(2) Everyone with whom your daughter will ever attend school will come to know of it.

(3) Everyone whom your parents know now know it.

(4) Your friends all know that you're up for it, as do their husbands.

Good luck trying to squeeze all of that toothpaste back into the tube, you self-indulgent fool.

Rudyard Kipling, roughly one hundred years ago, was on point with his criticism of the world which was being envisioned by the Progressives:

With the Hopes that our World is built on they* were utterly out of touch,

They* denied that the Moon was Stilton; they* denied she was even Dutch;

They* denied that Wishes were Horses; they* denied that a Pig had Wings;

So we worshiped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

...

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life

(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)

Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,

And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

* Here, the "they" to whom he referred were the "Gods of the Market", mentioned above.

About her husband, "He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasn't supportive of this at all."

Come again, Suzy, who is it that "totally broke all the rules"? Who is it that "is scum"? Who is it who "bec(a)me scum to make (her)self feel good"? Or, did you, "rather than" "suffer", "go that route of being vindictive"?

Ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

It's a story akin to Michael Phelps smoking weed. And it's a story because most people want to believe that only degenerates and criminals have vices. People with brains and skills are supposed to be sexless teetotalers. For some people, this story makes them afraid to look in the mirror. For others, it makes it easier to look in the mirror, because their vices are much more boring.

Curtis Meyer

I'm less interested in Suzy, and more interested in people who hear her story and think that they need to step in and change what appears to be an educated and deliberate life decision by a person they don't even know. I think she makes the world much less boring.

This is yet another example of why we need a toll bridge on I94. They cum here, and take all the Minnesota money back across the river for free.

Perhaps. Is that what y'all are saying? And you are correct, TMA---no one cares about this. I was gonna post that this was not news. I, in fact, was thinking, OMG, Awesome! and i was a little jealous that i have never asked for cash for sex. Why didn't i think of that?

When you look like me you're lucky if they'll have sex under any circumstances whatsoever. Seriously tho, my point was that if she WERE having sex and receiving gifts, which happens, it would be substantially similar to having sex and receiving cash. However in my second paragraph I also allow for a woman simply having "recreational sex," so your point is incorrect anyway.

Everyone prostitutes themselves in one form or another. I do it every weekday at 9 AM in a cubicle, and I earn far less than $600 an hour. I believe even Jesus hung out with prostitutes. He also socialized with tax collectors, people possessed by demons, lepers, and children. I think he even said something about everyone being a sinner and deserved our forgiveness. But I could have that wrong since I'm not the churchiest person around.

Did anyone else notice that Bob thinks women will only have sex in exchange for money or gifts?

Since when did prostitution become a bad thing? I assumed that it was the original and oldest form of professional work for women since the times of the Gods.

Again, someone who got caught and now has to act as if the choices they made were because of negative life experiences. Look, Suzy, just admit you like having sex and getting paid for it. Jeff Dubay, admit that you enjoy smoking crack. Everyone has vices. Yours are just more interesting.

While I'm not unaware that this is a 'scandal' in the traditional sense and certainly helps sell newspapers... how is this actually a problem? If her husband was fine with it and she enjoyed her work, why shouldn't she do it? Our attitudes towards sex in this country are seriously juvenile and patriarchal. If Hamilton were a single woman simply having recreational sex with people as she travels around that's not notable. That she's married when having sex with others means she's "owned" by her husband? And that he doesn't "control his woman" means there's something wrong with their relationship? What is this, the 18th century? And then that she receives cash for sex is somehow illegal... but if she received only free meals, jewelry, perfume, wine, lingerie, transportation and lodging, that would be okay? So it's not the sex, it's not the quid-pro-quo, it's the exchange of CASH that makes it wrong? Honestly, this country needs to grow the fuck up.

Oops! That "they" were, rather, the titular "Gods of the Copybook Headings", of course.

Do you have no moral standards? Where do you draw the line?  Prostitution is ok, cheating on your spouse is ok, living a lie to all your friends and family?  How would anyone feel they have meaningful, loving relationships? Not being able to have sex outside of your marraige does not mean you're "owned" by your husband. It means you have a faithful, honest marriage - you took vows and they go both ways. That's what a marriage is, and if you don't believe in the concept - don't get married! Keep having empty, meaningless, "recreational" sex. I'm sure you'll wake up feeling very fulfilled one day.

Honestly, you're the reason this country's fucked up.

@lupa75 People like A1batross would prefer that they be able to do as they wish with no consequences to other people. Or, rather, that the other people just suck it up and deal.

I'd advise the young ones coming up just to get an ugly girl, so that they can avoid the increasingly common trauma that comes with "hot wifes", but the ugly girls actually got to craigslist first. I watched several of them blow their marriages apart some 10-15 years ago. Just recently, one of their sons knocked at the door of his fellow teenager, who had been emulating his own mother's misconduct, then blew his brains out on their porch.

"Teach your children well, their father's hell will surely go bye"

A1batross
A1batross

@lupa75 No, CHEATING on your spouse is not okay. However if your spouse is fine with the idea of you having sex for cash with other people - and we don't know if that's the case from this article - then THAT'S "okay. " For THEM.

People have all sorts of marriages. The "Father Knows Best" lifelong monogamy is just one kind. Nowadays Elizabeth-Taylor style 'serial monogamy' is very common, as is cohabitation.

Yes, if that couple promised faithful monogamy then what Hamilton did would NOT be okay - within the context of THAT marriage.

But some marriages are different. Some couples marry and agree to each partner seeing other people as well. Some marry monogamous and then change their agreements to allow for other arrangements.

There is no ONE answer to how these things work, and it's not the public's place to judge someone's marriage. The Bible has all SORTS of polygamous marriages. Sarah allows, encourages Abraham to impregnate Hagar, likewise Rachel encourages Bilhah to bear her husband Judah's children.

The ideal of heterosexual lifelong monogamy is just one way a marriage can work. If Hamilton and her husband were okay with her avocation, it's really nobody else's business.
