Tubby Smith busts all sorts of dance moves following Gophers' season-saving win [VIDEO]

Tubby has a hard time coaching offense, but by the looks of things he has an easy time on the dance floor.

What a difference a few minutes can make.

With 22.6 seconds left in regulation last night, the Gophers trailed Bo Ryan and the hated Wisconsin Badgers by two points. Wisconsin had the ball, meaning the good guys' chances of tying up the game and forcing overtime were slim to none. And with a once-promising Gophers season headed down the tubes thanks to six losses during their last eight Big Ten games, defeat could've been the beginning of the end of Tubby Smith's disappointing tenure as head coach.

But then Badgers senior and St. Paul native Mike "Benedict Arnold" Bruesewitz had a massive brain fart, traveling before he inbounded the ball and giving possession back to the Gophers. Two free throws later, the game was tied, and Tubby Smith and his boys would go on to secure a season-saving victory during overtime.

So instead of dourly answering questions about whether he expects to still have a job at the U of M next year, Tubby instead got to do a jig with his players back in the locker room:



At 6-6 in the Big Ten, the Gophers still have some work to do to assure themselves of an NCAA Tournament berth. Thankfully, Bruesewitz did some of the work for them, but regardless -- a win is a win, and a win against Wisconsin on Valentine's Day is more than enough reason to bust some moves.

Now let's just hope Tubby can somehow figure out how to coach offense as well as he can dance before Sunday's key game at Iowa.
