Jim Graves sounds like he wants rematch against Michele Bachmann

Last November, Bachmann won 50.59 percent of the vote, compared to 49.41 for Graves.
After being narrowly defeated by Michele Bachmann in a campaign where she outspent him more than seven times over, Jim Graves sounds like a man who wants a rematch.

In an email sent to supporters earlier this week, Graves wrote, "I know that the work we started last year, well, it isn't over."

Graves also took a shot at Bachmann's baffling vote against the Violence Against Women Act.

In an interview with the St. Cloud Times published last month, Graves said he'd decide whether to challenge Bachmann again by April 1. In the meantime, he said he's "watching carefully what Rep. Bachmann does or doesn't do on the floor of Congress."

Since escaping by the skin of her teeth last election cycle, Bachmann has pretty much been up to the same ol' same ol'. VAWA vote aside, she recently made headlines for saying how proud she is of herself for never saying anything that's untrue. At the beginning of the year she had to deal with allegations from her former National Field Coordinator that she still hasn't paid staffers who worked on behalf of her ill-fated presidential campaign, and late last year she appeared on an apocalyptic radio show and said Barack Obama supports Sharia law.

In other words, Graves should have plenty of material to work with if he decides to make another go at it.
