Michele Bachmann again runs from CNN's Dana Bash when asked about misleading CPAC speech
|Instead of taking a couple seconds to answer a simple question from CNN's Dana Bash, Bachmann again hit the bricks.|

On Monday, the Washington Post rated remarks Bachmann made criticizing President Obama during her CPAC speech as "Four Pinocchios," meaning it was about as big a lie as you'll ever hear. Then, last night, she got absolutely eviscerated on Anderson Cooper's CNN show.
The highlight of the Cooper segment came when CNN aired footage of reporter Dana Bash trying to interview Bachmann about her CPAC speech. Bachmann, you might remember, was caught on tape storming right past Bash while lying to her during an incident we blogged about last summer.
She wasn't any more eager to talk to Bash this time around. Here's a transcript of their interaction (Unfortunately, the CNN video isn't embeddable, but to watch it, click here, and to skip right to the Bash-Bachmann exchange, fast-forward right to the 5:50 mark):
BASH: What I want to ask you about is the fact that you said [Obama] had -- you talked about the excesses that he's engaged in, the fact he has a dog walker, which is not true--In related developments, news broke yesterday that Bachmann could face a GOP primary challenge next year. Maybe Michele's statewide unpopularity is finally infiltrating her exurban Congressional district.
BACHMANN: The big point in my speech was about Benghazi. This was an absolute disaster--
BASH: But you also made specific accusations about the President spending money that other presidents also made [sic]--
BACHMANN: The real issue is that there are four Americans that are dead. The Secretary of State was not in conversation with the Secretary of Defense or with the Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
BASH: I think that's an important point, I think that's an important point. But this is another--
BACHMANN: The President of the United States didn't care about those four Americans and they were killed. That's the point -- and we've gotta focus on national security--
BASH: But if you want to focus on that, then why did you bring up the other things?
BACHMANN [walking away]: ...You want to talk about dog handlers and there's four Americans killed? That's an insult--
BASH: But Congresswoman, you're the one who brought it up!
