Bachmann: Miracle from God will force Obama to sign Obamacare repeal [AUDIO]

barack obama bachmann rect.jpg
We'll see if Barack is still smiling after God forces him to renounce his signature piece of legislation.
No doubt, God, assuming He exists, is powerful. But is He powerful enough to convince President Obama to repeal Obamacare?

RELATED: Michele Bachmann: Obamacare "literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens" [VIDEO]

According to Michele Bachmann, you betcha He is!

Last week, a Bachmann-sponsored bill to repeal Obamacare passed the GOP-controlled House in a 229-195 vote, but the measure stands no chance of success in the Democrat-controlled Senate.

Unless, of course, God intervenes.

Here's a transcript of what Bachmann had to say this morning about her rationale for pushing Congress's 37th (we're not making that number up) Obamacare repeal bill during an appearance on James Dobson's radio show, followed by the raw audio (h/t: Right Wing Watch):
That's why you saw the House of Representatives pass my bill, the full repeal of Obamacare last week, and that's why I have renewed confidence that we can see this bill pass in the Senate and I think the President will ultimately be forced to repudiate his own signature piece of legislation because the American people will demand it.

And I think before his second term is over, we're going to see a miracle before our eyes, I believe God is going to answer our prayers and we'll be freed from the yoke of Obamacare. I believe that's going to happen and we saw step one last week with the repeal of Obamacare in the House. We have two more steps. We serve a mighty God and I believe it can happen.

We're not sure what's more unlikely -- that Alexandria-area tea partiers' prayers will convert George Soros to Christianity, or that Bachmann's will compel God to get serious about doing what He can to get her long-sought Obamacare repeal done.

You poor people.  One day you are all in for the surprise of your lives.  Hopefully it won't be too late.

Everyday I dislike Representative Bachmann less and less.  This Religious crap is just crazy.  This is what killed the tea party. Social crazies who think they know how to run peoples lives.  Funny, cuz it could apply to pretty much every other politician out there.  Right or left they all wanna run our lives.

Strange that God wasn't behind the 36 previous repeal attempts.

God can do anything!   God made Marcus straight fools!   He will make Obama sign my bill!    God can do anything because Marcus was extremely gay.  Now he devotes his life to talking to confused gay young men about their sexuality.  See! God cured him 100% nothing gay about what Marcus does now.

Good to see the separation of church and state alive and well!   All praise Michelle she will save us all!  Hahahaha!  What a psycho B!tch.  Well, at least she is not claiming to have personal conversations with God as our former president did.  If there is a God, PLEASE save us from these morons!

What kind of person that is supposed to "work for the people" and is religious wants NO HEALTHCARE help for the people that can't afford to do it? Unreal. What kind of god does she believe in?

This God that Michelle Bachmann keeps talking about, sounds like an incredible douchebag. Her God must love it when Insurance companies deny people's claims for pre-existing conditions. Or when people go bankrupt because they can't pay medical bills because there is no safety net. Wait, is she talking about God, God? or the God that is the Health Care industry?

Aren't you guys happy you have Bachman around? What would you do with 3/4 of your content without her?? You MIGHT just have to talk about music or something.

@Kent Klinger Oh Kent, is it any wonder with dumb shits like you on their side that the GOP is getting worked in the polls.  People like you are literally part of the reason people are flocking to the DFL.  So, I say keep talking, the dems need hard working ass hats such as yourself.

Watching out how? Do you have a super secret plan to solve the completely out of control healthcare costs in this country? Let me guess, nothing is better than something, am I right? This may not be a perfect plan, but it's the best that can be done so long as the GOP has a say. Taxpayers already pay something like a third of all healthcare costs due to uninsured or underinsured users. At least this plan makes some attempts at getting things under control. Bitching about the solution when you have no solution of your own to offer is worthless

@digitalprotocol Quick to snap huh?  Sorry not trolling.  I just think they are funny,  whether one or the other uses "facts," well,  i made no endorsement of either man. other than I think they are funny. You however did endorse one.  Also isn't bill mahar an athiest?  Not believing in a God, or believing in God is not fact based.  It is faith based.

No one knows what happens to us when we die.

I'm just relaxing after work and chatting on line.  I try to keep it friendly.  I didn't want to make you mad.  I thought it was a funny comment.

@digitalprotocol Religions create propaganda. So do all other large groups of people.

My point is michelle, and the church are easy targets to bash.  The real problem is transparency.

Propaganda is everywhere.

Also i guess my point was to make a cute comment just like you ; )

@mingtran Your solution is the barter system?   What a dumbass.  I bet you get called dumbass a lot.

Drewey
Drewey topcommenter

@mingtran Your solution to people that can't afford health insurance is find docs that don't accept it and pay out of pocket like the good old days?  I assume you mean the good old days when people didn't go to a doc because they couldn't afford the out of pocket?  You call me unoriginal and then proceed to recycle an idea that was so ineffective that is spawned health insurance?  And the poor should just stop being poor, right?  Seriously, what kind of idiots fall for this kind of thinking?

mingtran
mingtran topcommenter

Just like I said before: you have nothing "original" to offer. Research demand for doctors who don't accept ins and stick to a set priced menu of services like back in the good old days. Some of those docs even work on a barter system. Much more compassionate and more humanitarian than the system you're fifhting for.

Drewey
Drewey topcommenter

@mingtran No, the problem is selfish individuals like yourself who like to take advantage of all the things that a healthy society means while contributing nothing in return.

Drewey
Drewey topcommenter

@keny1 @MicheleBachmann Couple things.  First,  opponents of these programs love to ignore the increased workforce productivity that a healthier populace provides. Or the decrease in lifetime healthcare costs that early prevention provides.  Second, the truly poor are mostly covered already under one state sponsored program or another.  The ACA helps those on the edge, those that make too much to qualify for those programs but not enough to pay for their own insurance. Finally, I have asked plenty of healthcare professionals (some in my family) and the overwhelming majority will tell you that a solution to our current system is an absolute must or nobody will be able to afford care.  So, while the "God wants us to be greedy and selfish" crowd bitches about  taxes and the economy and ignores the biggest single threat to our economy (unfunded heath care costs), I'll vote for those that actually have a plan for saving our economy rather than pretending that doing nothing is a solution.

keny1

@MicheleBachmann The only thing Obamacare will accomplish is higher taxes (for it's administration, which will offset the lower healthcare costs), and longer waiting times to see a doctor (as if doctors and medical staff are not already spread out thin enough under the current system. Ever been to an ER lately?)

Those same poor uninsured people who currently get emergency healthcare will still be poor under the ACA and will not be able to afford it anyway, so there goes that argument.

Like I said before, go ask ANY health professional what they think of the ACA and they will ALL AGREE:

EPIC FAIL.

MicheleBachmann topcommenter

@mingtran    For the record stupidly bitching about Obamacare while admitting you don't really know much about the issue or possible alternative solutions doesn't make you original, it makes you a dumbass.

mingtran
mingtran topcommenter

The problem is mindless dorks like you who only live in the narrow parameters of what society creates for you. You've probably never had an "original" thought/idea/concept of your own because you don't realize that YOU create your own reality. For the record, I don't claim to know the answer. What I do know is I make better decisions for me than the government and IRS, and I can do it for less $.

H8TER
H8TER

@Drewey there are some alternative ideas out there.  The one I liked was divorcing health care from your employer, and force health insurance to compete on a national level rather than having the states in effect legislate out most competition. Only so many insurance companies are available in each state, less competition.  I'm pretty sure the affordable care act does nothing to deal with the problem of few choices.

Instead we got the government with its dirty hands in our most private affairs.  Isn't the "unbiased" IRS going to have access to some peoples health care info?  I really like that idea, cuz bureaucrats never act with malice do they?

Tyranny may not be right around the corner, but it is never more than a few generations away.
