Details at this point remain scant, though a crime lab was on the scene early this afternoon.

According to the Star Tribune, the Lexus is registered to an as-of-yet-undisclosed address in St. Paul.

C.J. was at the impound lot and uploaded this photo to Twitter late this morning: In February, the body of 18-year-old St. Paul resident Brittany Clardy was found inside a car towed to a Columbia Heights impound lot. No information about the identity of the body found today has yet been disclosed.

:::: UPDATE ::::

According to KARE, a foul smell emanating from the car initially drew the attention of workers. They then opened the trunk, found the body, and called 911.

KARE reports that Brooklyn Park Police are also involved in the investigation, as the car was towed from there to Minneapolis.

My name Miriah Hardy, I am also a sister of Klaressa Cook. Along with what my sister Kalen Russell said the body found in this car was our sister Klaressa Cook. Her name should be shared for she did not deserve this. The body is not unknown, her name was Klaressa Cook. She celebrated her 24th Birthday January 8th. We last heard from her on January 19th, she is from Georgia. Her mother is Regina Dean her father is Cliff Carrol, she also leaves two brothers Trenton Cook and Zachary Russell as well as three sisters, me Miriah Hardy, Kalen Russell, and Arianna Russell. If u do not believe our stories u can find us on Facebook where there is more proof that we r tellin the truth. R.I.P. my beautiful sister!! U will forever be loved and will never be forgotten!!

Probably from someone at Wrecker services. Those guys are real shady and basically steal cars.

My husband and I recently had a question we thought you might be able to answer. This question is a little off-beat, but we're curious. What is the plural of Lexus? Amy TOM: Well, Amy, the problem is nobody knows, because no one's ever been able to afford more than one Lexus. So we'll just have to speculate. RAY: We suspect that the root of Lexus is Latin. And we traced it back to one of two possible roots. One is Latin for "half-price Mercedes." And the other, roughly translated, means "Japanese Buick." My guess is it's probably the former. TOM: Also, sticking with Latin, we see two possible declensions. There's the "opus" model, of which the plural is "opera." So if we follow that rule, the plural of Lexus would be Lexera. One Lexus, two Lexera. RAY: More likely, Lexus follows the same rule as Taurus, which pluralizes as Tauri. So we'd have one Lexus, and two Lexi. Personally, I think that sounds classier. TOM: And as soon as we find an English professor who owns more than one Lexus, Amy, we'll give you the definitive answer.

I believe the preferred nomenclature is Lexi, Don Ball.

They should have to check every trunk that comes in there......

I believe that's a standard feature for Lexuses.

Perhaps the same could be said about these message boards and your presence here.

@Joan Snyder That would be an extremely labor intensive process since they lack the keys.  Also a gross violation of privacy.

@Blaine Garrett As long as people from Chicago, Gary Indiana, Kansas City and St. Louis keep coming here to take advantage of our Welfare system, these killings will only increase. I think we learned that the hard way back in 1995 (Remember Murderapolis?)

Anyone could be found in a trunk of any type of car, and it shouldn't matter what type of person my sister was she still didn't deserve this!! And ur right my sister wasn't from Beverly Hills and she didn't drive a BMW but she was a good person who would give you the shirt off her back if u needed it!!!!!!
