A 13-year-old girl was riding her bike near that intersection, which is just a couple of blocks away from Lake Calhoun, when three men approached her.
According to the crime alert, "One of the suspects grabbed her by the wrist and said they would hurt her if she made any noise. The victim screamed and at that time the suspects looked at one another and fled northbound from the area on foot."
It's unclear how the suspects fled the scene from there, and no similar incidents have been reported.
The MPD describes the three suspects as white men between 30 and 45 years old. One has a "very muscular build described as similar to a wrestler," and a second has a blond buzz cut. No description was provided of the third suspect.
Anyone with information about the incident or the suspects is asked to call MPD Sergeant Jerry Wallerich at 612-673-2864.
