Bomb threats sent via email and phone calls have prompted the closure of the CVS Pharmacy at Franklin and Nicollet avenues in south Minneapolis.

According to a WCCO report, MPD officials say employees at the pharmacy "received phone and email threats about a bomb in the business." The building has been evacuated and traffic through the Franklin and Nicollet intersection has been rerouted as officers investigate the validity of the threat.

City Pages tried to call the store to get more information but nobody answered the phone.

We'll update this post as more information emerges.
