City Pages cover curse?
Chris Kluwe might have to make the transition to full-time author (or whatever is next for him) a few years earlier than he'd hoped.

Over the weekend, Kluwe, 31, was cut by the Raiders, who became the second team this offseason (following the Vikings) to say thanks, but no thanks to his services.

Months after signing a contract for the league minimum salary, Kluwe lost a preseason competition for the Raiders punting job to an unheralded second-year player named Marquette King.

Will one of the key players in Minnesota's marriage equality struggle ever kick another ball in the pros? Kluwe, with his usual sense of humor, took to Twitter to let his fans know he's keeping his options open, and in the meantime he plans to play lots of Path of Exile and catch up on Breaking Bad: -- Follow Aaron Rupar on Twitter at @atrupar. I like him personally, but it is about job performance.

I dont think anyone should care what kris kluwe thinks. I agree with him about lots of things he says, especially LGBT rights and equality. I just think he's ultra annoying and I would never vote for him. He is an NFL kicker, people! FORMER NFL kicker! yeesh. Stop loving this guy so much for having an opinion. we all have one. he just swears a lot. and gives his books really stupid titles. its annoying.

Lol where are all the people that accused the Vikings of cutting him for his big mouth now? He and Winfield both got cut went to other teams and were cut in Seattle and Oakland why you asked? Because their on field performance diminished, maybe we should asked the governor his take on it like we did before? Maybe he should beg for a job at CIty Pages

How about law school? He'd be a great politician!

Clearly, it was his outspoken support of marriage equality that made the Raiders make this decision. Oh, wait...

@Taylor Johnson  - Former punter and place holder. There is a difference.

"its annoying."

Do you know what else is annoying? Someone who can't form a complete sentence or use punctuation correctly.

@Shawn Kuiper The Vikings think Christian Ponder is a starting NFL QB.  I don't think they have any right to brag about player decisions.
